The Smurfs 2 - The Prisoner of the Green Stone
Casual playthrough ~8 hours Played on a Steamdeck @MatureContent
Like I said in my review of Vileaf, these Smurf games really surprised me. They are genuinely a lot of fun. Handy Smurf creates some device they call the Smurfomix, but it is missing one component, some green magical stone. They then proceed to steal it from Gargamel's laboratory, but something goes wrong and it shatters. Some kind of evil spirit they call Stolas is released from the stone and the environment has for some reason also been infected with this crystal-like growth. Your job is to run through this area, collecting the green crystals and catching the evil spirit. Just like with the Vileaf game, it is a fun, smooth and intuitive gameplay experience, that by its design can be enjoyed by every age group. There are again three different difficulties where I chose the middle one and it was easy. So the lower one of the three difficulties should definitely make it suitable for most kids, to the point where it is almost hard to die. The game is structured into 3 different biomes, starting at the forest, then the snowy mountains and endin…

Better than Vileleaf in every way imaginable. Fun combat, beautiful stages, and an even a pretty interesting story! Great game!

It was another fun smurf game

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this one. I loved the first one and was a fun short ride, but this one feels like a chore and drags much more I find. If you get it on sale it might be worth it, but frankly I got bored on this one and will not complete it.
