The Spooky Island

I was interested in the beginning, but then the game got boring. There was too much walking around without any significant events occurring. I can't in good conscience recommend this game.

Things I liked a lot: Voice acting, some comedic beats, and the world was fun! Had some pretty fun moments, and one of the better titles in this devs' playbook. Things I didn't like: Man, I know its 2026 but get that gen ai out of the first area! The casino ads? Cmon, we can do better for sure. Also the pacing was a little off. A lot of walking but not as much suspense or thrills. I think the speed of the character the entire game was tough. Bump up the walking speed a little, maybe give us a slight job on a stamina bar, and we're gucci. Yeah but as of now I dont recommend, though I see the potential for better stuff. Keep up the hard work and dedication, and I'll keep buying!!!

Terrible game. It's not scary but just a goofy crap, runs poorly and lags SOOOO bad (not because of my computer), don't buy it

Finished this game today. Would i recomment it? No. Although I didn't mind this game, I ran into quite a few bugs/issues during my gameplay esepcially near the end. I found key iterms wouldn't picku properly, for example I walked into a room with a stone on it, and only a light showing and 2 skeletons, I would click around for ages and nothing would pickup, but I needed a key to progress to the door, I couldn't find the key anywhere so I came back to the room twice, and on the 3rd time where the light was shining tehre was a key which wasn't even visible or very difficult to see. I eventually picked up the key to progrss. Why couldn't we run during the game? Most of the game, running or even a slow run was disabled except for in the cave near end game where we could sudden;y run to look for the key to rpogress, and there was one small part where we had to run from our friend because he was apparently dead, but that was ut. After these two parts, walking slow was the only option. The textures and graphics weren't teally great especially when we would face our friends? looked likd of blurry but maybe a small studio made this and its the best they could do? Terrible game, really poorly made, not scary and voice acting godawful. Got stuck in the dark with no light and quit, wish I could get a refund. Stay away.
