The World is Binary, a 3D visual novel, takes you on a journey of good and evil, science and religion, and questions what is true or false. The experience explores the ideas of love and fear, and offers practical steps on how you can improve your life and change the world.
Essentially a multimedia book, the experience lasts about 30 minutes and explores many serious and deep issues, such as the ideological differences between people of faith and the scientific community, the people's freedom and the government's order, and explores how the emotions of love and fear hold a deeper meaning in life.
There are no choices or branching. It is, in essence, a book. However there are real time 3D graphics running in the background, and relaxing music to listen to as you read. The graphics are configurable for both high-end and low-end machines, and you can hide the text and just watch the experience as a looping benchmark.

As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This isn't a true novel or anything, or even a CYOA book. The "author", pretending to be a philosopher, wrote a garbage manifesto, specifically using a technique most commonly referred to as "an unholy deluge of word salad gibberish", and published it as if it was a video game on Steam. The best way to explain the impact of this comes from Adam Sandler's own works, which I will paraphrase now. I choose Love over Fear
Bought a book. Got a BJ while reading it.
The World is Binary: Why Love is the Answer Positives: + Nice music + Ok made "artsy" girl + Graphical adjustments + Its free Negatives: - No screensaver mode - Not the best graphics - No free view - Absolutely nothing to do - Very little to see (its just a girl and a too long text) - No voiceover or storyteller - Over in a few minutes Well this is a screensaver without being able to use it like that. The music is relaxing and nice, and the girl is ok to have in the background. But thats it. To be honest I didnt bother to finish the whole text, it was too long, just like the bible. Total Score: 4/10 Love is always the answer, it's never a question, because the answer is yes
