You don't play these games for the playtime you play them to implant the characters and the world in your mind and let you come up with the rest of the story. These games are painfully short, but it's painful because you can't help but want more. Probably the best single player minimal viable videogame product ever.1 found this helpful
I should write a review because this game blew my socks off when I played it back in the day, and I still think about it and come back to it. I don't want to oversell it too much because its basically around a 15-20min long story told through first person perspective and there are no choices or skill elements, BUT the reason I think it's so amazing is it is so creative, tells its story in such an interesting way that I wish more games had cribbed from (non-linear, surrealist, cinematic, rich with metaphor, love, loss and lust) its totally beautiful with great textures, sound and music, and a fabulous credits/epilogue. Totally it's own thing and although I was already a fan of Brendon Chung/Blendo, this made me a life long fan, and puts him into genius category in my opinion. Only play this if you're willing to enjoy something a bit different, have a story told to you and not too rigid in your belief of what a 'game' is.
The stylistic editing of cinema combined with the playfully janky beauty the only video games can conjure. This is one for the history books.
not entirely sure what is going on with the epilogue but it sure has stuck with me through the years. insanely stylish. totally worth the sale price. literally 5-10 minutes long.
