About THORNYWAY
This game is for fans of hardcore gameplay. As hardcore as THORNYWAY band that made it. Don't even think of solving its riddles. No one will tell you where to go or even how to run or jump. There are no enemies in this game except yourself. Most players couldn't even get out of the first dungeon. The aim of the game is to get THORNYWAY's album, but you won't get it.

AN PRISTINE PARABLE, TOO OLD TO REMEMBER AND TOO HEAVY TO ENDURE. THE THORNYWAY UNIVERSE - is an empirical puzzle about the meaning of the human soul, endowed with the curse of life and the gift of destruction. The hero will have to independently read the map of what happened earlier and decide what to do next. Here is the metaphor of the lost mind in the mist of values and desires. The choice between harmony and rebellion is different ways to go through the game. The path against the stream and along it. The challenge will be thrown at you and you will feel it. The keys and landmarks are hidden in the songs, without them they feel, it will be difficult to understand the developers' message. And in this I think the main conflict between the audience and the creators. But I want to show the players faith, perseverance and endurance. Later, the game will reward you with a gift in the form of audio files composing the released album THORNYWAY - AWAKENING. Game + Music album = $ 6. For example, other indie games from the list cost about 15, and Beyonce last album in itunes more than $ 6. This work is made by a group of 7 non-professionals, for their money. Fans of the band are gonna love this. Everyone else will probably find the game extremely tedious. Around every corner is...another corner. Just over the tree-covered hill, is another identical tree-covered hill. There are some pages to find apparently, but it is seriously not that m,uch fun looking for them. The jump doesn't even work. https://youtu.be/jaZzh2GjLqc11 found this helpful
THORNYWAY- The Game (REVIEW) (By Paradox29 from Chicken Tikka Gaming) To start off, a huge thanks to developer x0maze for sending us this copy of this game for review. Due to technical reasons, we couldn't record a gameplay session of this game, so it's just going to be a written review. (OBS and Shadowplay screwed us over and we have no idea why) We at Chicken Tikka Gaming heard of this game introducing a new concept of conveying the story through the music of a band named, Thornyway, and we absolutely loved this idea. And as expected, the music in this game was just marvelous. The piano scores immediately resonated with us, as we are fellow musicians as well. We could very well have just sat there and be immersed in the masterpieces that Ian Kmit, Roman Chernitsky and Pavel Dyshlevich along with the vocalists and composers have produced. Kudos to you amazing people! Unfortunately, the rest of the game doesn't fall into place quite as well as the music did. From constant frame drops that manufactured migraines, to buggy controls - the "jump" wouldn't work sometimes, even while you are running - to completely non-intuitive gameplay, made this game a chore to play rather th…8 found this helpful
Follow our curator page "First Person Exploration and Puzzle Games" for more games like this!
Another pile of garbage that shouldn't be allowed on Steam. You walk around a giant pointless maze with copied+pasted decay everywhere. When you reach what appears to be the end of the maze, you're awarded with a staircase blocked off by rocks. If there's anything more to this game, there's no indication of that in the game itself. This game is apparently supposed to be a promotion for some band, but I don't even see where that comes from. There was only one background track while I played, consisting of light piano music. Avoid this game at all costs.7 found this helpful
