Can't lie overall im pretty disapointed. I think the actual story is pretty good, but the entire "You actions shape the world for your followers" is almost kind of a fib. Sure it can have an impact on thier run and how levels play out, but after watching a friend follow me I realise a lot of the time missions play out exactly the same as it did for me. That and this glitched choice garbage, in the game that is based entirely on your actions effecting the next person they have a feature that... does not do that? Oh and sometimes the game just flat out lies to you, every ladder I fixed was broken for my friend, and sometimes it would genuinly just tell me friend I did something that I so obviously did not do. That and my god I cannot ignore how chopped the game can look sometimes, props blatantly clipping into eachother, man walking stock animation on every npc, and so many other graphical eyesores, nothing like the trailers. I think it was possible and well within thier ability to make this game way better then what it is now.2 found this helpful
Good game which is worth the price with an engaging story great music and visuals. personally did think some dialogue was a little rough but the general story makes up for it. also performed a little poorly but i guess that makes sense when you have a very high quality sea waves generation going on the whole time. either way, impressive game for a team of this size, would recc. my code is 6578-5672 if u want
I like the concept of following another players game it gives randomization per play through. Definitely a big fan of unique game ideas that are out of the norm. Great story as well.
Excellent game, just like the ones before, the ambience of the entire game is PEAK, the mechanics are fresh and make us forget the game market of repetitive mechanics everywhere. If you never heard about this game, don't spoil yourself, PLAY IT, NOW, or else a Tidewalker will come to your house and tell you for multiple hours to play the game
The premise of suffering consequences for other player actions is incredible, i'ts certainly not a flawless game but still very fun.
Just finished the game and will go for a second playthrough! The game is perfectly balanced for gamers like me who aren't into full on action but want to explore, uncover and being stimulated from time to time to keep going. I see mixed reactions about following other players but i think it is such a fun addition! It changes what you can do here and there but you are still in charge of your own story for the biggest part and for who complains, you really can see what kind of player everyone is so if you don't want to follow a selfish player... find one with other traits than troublemaker and survivalist. I had a blast and am thankful for this unique game!
