The game feels half baked to be honest. The gameplay loop is repetitive and there's no goal or reason for anything. It's good for about 10 hours of gameplay at the most, I wouldn't buy it again.5 found this helpful
very clunky, copy paste graphics, not great customization. especially being abandoned, no tutorial for buttons so you just end up button mashing. for 20 dollars, i get maybe 5. dont reccommend in current state but to each their own!3 found this helpful
The good: Time to Morp is an adorable drug that mainlines pure serotonin straight into your veins. You land on a colorful planet and immediately start hoarding bouncy little Morps that look like rejected Pokémon designed by a sugar-high toddler. Raising them, feeding them weird goo, and turning your base into a fully automated chaos factory is stupidly satisfying. Co-op with friends turns it into a gigglefest where you accidentally launch your Morps into orbit. The vibes are immaculate — pure cozy chaos wrapped in jelly. The bad: Automation takes its sweet time to actually feel automatic, so you’ll spend early hours micromanaging like an overworked parent. Progression can feel slower than a Morp digesting a rock, and some systems beg for more depth once the initial “aww cute” wears off. Exploration occasionally runs out of steam faster than your enthusiasm after the 47th identical biome. The ugly: Morps have a habit of glitching through floors like they're training to be ghosts. Pathfinding turns your cute helpers into drunken bumper cars that get stuck on one pixel of grass for eternity. Fun little game.
It's fun for ~8 CAD, has some unique ideas that I haven't seen before in an automation game. Easily completable in less than 20 hrs. Lots of "side" aspects of the game feel unfinished and there are game design decisions that are questionable but the main concept is complete. Don't buy for full price but check it out if you're a fan of the automation genre and if you can get a deal on it.
