About TIMESCAPE: Altitude

One of a series of planned Escape rooms in different, unique, locations and situations.
The game focuses on Observation, listening, logic, cunning, and physical puzzles. Keeping you
immersed, the puzzles logically fit with the situation, and don’t force a mini game where
it would not belong.

This is a very difficult Escape room.
Do not set your difficulty on Level 5 unless you are SUPER SMART.

Story

You have interfered with the plans of a rival who has left you to die on a plane, along with some expendable cargo. The pilots are gone, and the plane is flying itself. How long the plane will last in the air, is a guess. Best to get out, as quickly as possible.

Key Features

Hint system and menu controls are fit into the location, so you never have to exit, to make changes.
Hints are based on progress, so you’ll never get a hint that is not relevant.
The game is part non linear, so you can chose how you progress. If one puzzle is giving you a
problem, spend time on another for a while.

It’s VR, designed for full room-scale/standing tracking with motion controllers. Can play seated, but you would still need to reach to the floor to pick things up.
Switchable movement controls. Adjustable height Controls.
Adjustable difficulty levels.
 • Level 5 is for Super Escape Genius-Level Brains. Do not attempt.
 • Level 3 is the standard level.
 • Level 0 is more casual, or for people who are new to escape rooms.

The Game has been played on Valve Index, HTC Vive, and Quest 2 (including Virtual Desktop)

Playtime can be 1.5-3 hours depending on difficulty, and skill.
There is only a 30% completion rate with L5.
Choose L0-L3 if you are easily distracted, or streaming.
This game was originally designed as an escape challenge, then toned down for retail.
👍I Expect You To Fly?
I love that being trapped alone on a crashing plan adds a REAL REASON to want to escape! Overall, you can expect a set of HIGHLY unique and "real world" based puzzles, where all the answers are there, but it's still tricky. It's not as "big studio polished" as the more well know and comical based "spy's who die" escape rooms are. So don't go in expecting that.
😃 Best way to play is...
It's super fun to play while in our Voice Chat, so other's can taunt/help/sabotage you in a playful way. A few in our Steam Group (link below) have been doing that and loving it. Brings a whole new level to the fun.
😃 More fun...
This dev seems SUPER responsive to the community and eager to improve the game. I have no doubt it will get better with each frequent update. I really like that the dev included a DIFFICULTY adjustment, and built in tips too. So you are less likely to get stuck on any one puzzle. It seems the difficulty doesn't give you "replay ability". So I suggest you try on the medium level, and adjust as needed. 🔥►Meet people PLAYING now (in group CHAT link below) 💬►Initially voted 'a REAL reason to ESCAPE ' @ JoinU…

Escape room on a plane falling out of the sky. Lots of puzzles to solve, locks to pick and an angry snake in a box. Quite an interesting VR experience, I look forward to the next instalment! https://youtu.be/M4wrPFN83_w

Disclaimer: I've received this game for free via Curator Connect. TIMESCAPE: Altitude is one of the clunkiest VR games I've ever experienced, unresponsive movement and item interactions make it a torture to play. P.S. It kinda works on Reverb G2.

This game is... just... SO MUCH FUN There were a couple glitches but I told the developer and he fixed them THAT DAY. So awesome! The puzzles are a blast, and even on level 5 (hardest difficulty) it felt like there was always some connection between puzzle pieces, and always some way to solve the puzzles. If you're not very good at puzzles, or you have trouble focusing on something for longer than an hour or so at a time, I would recommend you play on level 3. But, if you want the fullest experience, want to truly challenge yourself, and feel like you have the skill, play on level 5. Solving the puzzles is so satisfying, and the experience is only heightened in VR. TLDR; Awesome game, super fun, definitely play. I am playing on Quest 2 using Virtual Desktop: 100% compatability

Thoroughly enjoyable escape room game. Lots of varied puzzles. Good clue system. I played through on level 3 and it was just right- never too obvious and puzzles always satisfying to solve... get it if you like these sort of games- it is basic looking but the puzzles are definitely not basic. A nice VR puzzle trip! Played on quest 2 steam link to completion without any problems.
