Pretty short, but still entertaining. The "single level" format makes it different from the rest of the Adventure Islands games.1 found this helpful
It's a port of a mini-Metroidvania made for a jam, and while I do think it's rather good with that restriction in mind, there are a few moments which could probably have been further tweaked for optimal experience. I'm glad I grabbed it and financially supported a developer that gave me a great time for free back in the good ol' days of Flash and certainly dug a few of the moments as a MV fan, but it wouldn't be my first pick for a newbie, at least not this version (the game is also on mobile, and it played surprisingly smoothly there, if memory serves me right). Look out for its upcoming remake: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3179810/Tiny_Dangerous_Dungeons_Remake/1 found this helpful

Short, sweet, good. Want a mini-Metroidvania? This is a pretty good option.
