Tiny Kingdom

I played this when it was first out, and it might be different now, but i was very into the art style, and excited to have a simple building game that was card based. I was VERY wrong. It seems like the devs changed the game a lot from the demo, and the game became VERY difficult to play, it was very RNG based, and wasn't really fair a lot of the time. I see others still complaining about the same thing, and the difficult tag was added, so I believe it's still the same today. If you're okay with a very challenging roguelike deckbuilder, then you might want to give it a shot! Finished? No, will not. Steam Achievements? Challenging. Steam Deck? Played on PC. It's quite shallow and the price probably could be lower but it's excellent for what it is. One of my favourites of whatever this genre is.

Ok maybe I'm a little too obsessed with a game so simple but here I am I guess. A lot of reviews talk of challenge mode being too hard but when you get the strategy down it's actually really easy!! Currently my challenge mode save is at 6000 people with $4000. It's not impossible :)

I found this ridiculously addictive. I personally feel like the gap between casual and difficult to be a bit too big. I'd say this might be because I'm bad at it, but casual also felt a little easy for me. But, I'm a big fan of relaxing cozy games so that was quite enjoyable.

I played the demo (itch.io) and fell in love with the game. Decided to buy the real deal and was blown away with the depth and complexity it had. Would recommend,; I have never felt so at peace at my computer.
