A gloriously Borderlands take on tabletop dice rolls and fantasy clichés.12 found this helpful
its alright its just DLC
funny asf but you need to play the other games to understend most of the jokes
The game serves as a backstory for BL2. If you enjoy Borderlands and are looking for more content to play, this is it. Yes, it's a short game but I enjoyed it.
TL:DR; it's just "more Borderlands". That's it... If you have played the first Borderlands you have practically already played all Borderlands, it's the same mechanic: go around, grind, grind, level, grind, die, grind, level, etc etc. There is a nice wholesome story behind this title, and it provides some kind of "closure" after the main story which is a nice change of pace when compared with the usual sci-fi stuff of the series, but it's, as usual, diluted in a lot of going back and forth and killing slightly stronger stuff to level up. Also humor, here and there, but after so many more of the same titles, I don't think I'll fondly remember anything about this one, except the bittersweet undertones. It's not bad, it's a grudgingly "meh" thumb up.
