You might be considering buying this because you heard the dual-text system is good for Japanese learners. That's fine. But know this: you MUST be prepared for how cringe this game is. The prose in this game is thermonuclear cringe. Whatever level of cringe you are expecting, it's at least an order of magnitude worse. It's so bad that I can only assume that this is the Japanese developers' (accurate) impression of what the average weeb is like and wrote it this way to insult you, you filthy gaijin neckbeard. You have been warned.

THIS GAME IS NOT STRICTLY FOR LEARNING JAPANESE! USE IT AS A SUPPLEMENT TO LEARNING! It has accessibility features to help early learners read through the story and have something quick and handy to rely on for reference. It's good and unique on that merit alone, however the resolution is TERRIBLE for text comprehension of small characters. you can make by on guesses if you've read other material, but this game should not be for very early beginners. (IE, if you can't comprehend something that's 20/100 according to JP.DB, SAVE IT FOR LATER!). In my learning i've found it a very fun experience to go through for reading, vocab and pronunciation practice (because i usually read out loud as of recently) as for the story itself, it's your typical VN plot about a guy who visits japan to romance anime girls. Music is a bit annoying, i'd recommend turning it down. it's not a masterpiece, but it's definitley unique and a great tool to assist early japanese learners. buy on sale if interested.

Had this game on my wishlist for a while mainly as a supplement to learning Japanese. While it did help me in that regard, the game ultimately had a good story that's has the usual Japan school troupes, with you playing as a male character from a different country coming to Japan as an exchange student. There's three girls you meet and they're the main focus of the game, with you ultimately becoming their romantic partner at the end. So three intended routes (or endings), but there is a route where you end up not getting any of them. Out of the three characters (Sakura, Aoi, and Karin), Sakura's route was by the far the most enjoyable for me and what tugged my strings the most. Outside of the story, I do also like the combination of how the game tracks dialogue combined with the saving system. In a few clicks, you can backtrack all the way to the start of the game if you wanted to and being able to save/load at any point makes this very nice and casual so there's no rush whatsoever. The skip button was very useful for getting to the main points of the game so I could even explore different endings in the first place. I mean, if you know what you are getting into, it is a pretty decent visual novel dating sim. Not my favorite and kinda grown apart from this genre, but If you like visual novels, nothing wrong with getting it.

OMG the writing is so degenerate but it's so well made, I'm not well versed in the VN culture so this might be normal? The protagonist just sound so much like a neckbeard or Ken-sama, like you are rightfully accused of セクハラ if you are thinking about how hot the girl you just bumped into is, while she's calling the freaking cops! But honestly tho I had a good laugh from how ridiculously stereotypical the character is, lmao.
