Overall, this game is very enjoyable. However, there’s one issue that consistently breaks immersion for me: combat impact feels delayed. When you attack anything with a melee weapon — enemies, crates, structures, whatever — there’s a noticeable lag of a second or two between the swing and the actual hit registering. It removes that satisfying “feeling of impact” you’d expect from melee combat, and it makes every fight feel a bit off, almost disconnected from your inputs. I’m not sure if this is intentional or a technical limitation, but if it could be addressed — especially for handheld/melee weapons — it would make combat feel dramatically more responsive and satisfying. Aside from that, I’m having a good time with the game.

the game is fine. Also on sale it's dirty cheap. There are many reviews here that are all wrong or directly lying, with no research. Or some ridiculous ones with more than a hundred hours and still giving this game a "not recommended"..dude. If the game is really trash you can tell by a couple of minutes or hours. I can't write about the multiplayer aspect (I read it was broken). But the game is good, not great like the previous one but it is better than many others arpgs out there. Also perfect for casual players and kids. Even on early game you can make some OP synergies lol The controller support is meh.

Overall, the game is uninspired. Most of the weapons are the same, the effects are the same, you press the same buttons over and over and the gameplay loop barely evolve from start to finish. I feel like too many studios are lacking ideas nowadays and people are just doing a game to do a game, not because they think they have cool and fun ideas. Diablo 3 was released 8 years before that game and does everything better. If you have never/barely played any video game, I think this game can be ok but if you know what exists in the world, I would skip. I did all 3 of them and none convinced me, could not even finished this third game.

I loved Torchlight I and II so I was excited to give III a try. Three things make this the worst version and not worth the discounted amount I paid. First, the quest system is useless. Nothing directs you to quest locations so you just wander around until it eventually appears on the minimap. This is because of the second horrible thing: the map. You can't mouse around and it at all. You can't move it at all. You're just stuck with a peephole view of the map. And the third thing is the repeating terrain. I had two zones in a row that used the exact same map. It was hard for me to keep up with where thing were because the map was the same but the objectives were different. The same map repeated again two zones later. That's a serious mind f*ck. Coupled with the bad mapping and poor quest system, it just wasn't very much fun. Oh, and I guess there is a fourth thing: itemization is horrible. I made it to level 32 and was still using level 7 boots because I hadn't found or gambled anything better.

I got this game for free from my amigo (I forgot his username:( ) Been playing since Early Access on and off, just got back into the game today and I do like the game, although its framerate drops at times. I like this game but I am also a shill for any Diablo-eque ARPG that doesn't have playthrough breaking bugs. So ignore my review because I wh*re myself out for this kind of genre. Except for Britra, that game is horribly made.
