About Touhou Block Fall ~ Yukari
Youkai are invading!
Take control of Reimu as she teams up with Yukari to handle the invasion! Manage stacks of falling Bakebake, Magic Books, Sunflower Fairies, and Yinyang orbs to keep the invasion from getting out of control in this 8-bit inspired falling block puzzle game.
Extermination
Match two youkai of the same type to exterminate them and clear room on the board for more. Or, sandwich youkai between the top and bottom halves of a gap so Yukari can send them all away and earn extra points in the process.
Use Bombs Wisely
Overwhelmed by supernatural beings? Just want to earn extra points? Use bombs to clear the board of all youkai at once and take the pressure off - for now!
Choose Your Path
Choose between three different play modes:
- ReimuA, in which the youkai fall endlessly until you're overwhelmed and a stack reaches the top of the board
- ReimuB, in which clearing the board earns you bonuses and resets the field
- Rumia, in which block faces are blacked out, you get no preview of upcoming blocks, and you start with rows of blocks on the board
Bustin' Tunes, Bustin' Youkai
Listen to six different Touhou tracks, each with two different arrangements (including NES-faithful chiptune arrangements) in the Music Room, and choose three of them as music presets for quick selection on the game setup screen.

Despite it being a simple clone of yoshi on NES I had more fun playing this then most modern games plus it's free, good job.6 found this helpful

Ok you can call me insane if you want but just hear me out for a second! Touhou Block Fall is genuinely a really awesome and fun puzzle game, so much so that i got all the achievements for it (did feel like i was going insane after spending 7.6 hours hunting them but that's on me lol). I was a bit sad when i learned this was just a re-skin for the game Yoshi (NES) but in the end it's still a free steam game with amateur art so whatever, i guess it's hard to be original with this sort of puzzle game. I find the gameplay to be extremely relaxing and fun, i love stacking blocks to make 5 or 6 blocks tall gaps to get a higher score and extra bombs to clear the screen, the blocks you encounter look so... unique, specially the silly looking fairy and the ghost, im quite fond of them by now, and every time you make a gap Yukari will shout "YEAH!" or "WOHOO!", it's one of the stupidest things ever and it always makes me laugh, same goes for all the rest of the artwork and sounds, which are all reminiscent of 8bit games. I guess that's all i can say, getting all the achievements for this was really fun, i entitled myself the Lebron of Touhou Block Fall.1 found this helpful
