fairly standard rhythm game, what you see is what you get, the danmaku mode gimmick isn't that focused on, most of its stages are rather easy compared to the normal 6key/4key mode that being said the story mode is really cozy i liked it1 found this helpful
Pretty addictive if you're into Touhou music and you're a completionist kind of player. With the uncontrollable urge to unlock every card and character from the story mode, and with so many songs to play in free mode (always nice to discover some banger remixes I had never heard before), hours fly by. Don't let the elitists bully you into playing 6-key, hard mode is super fun in 4-key, and already challenging enough. Works completely fine on Linux though you might need to downgrade Proton to v11 or v10 (there's currently an audio issue with v11-Experimental)
The game is fine. It feels good to play when you don't have dlc songs. The story mode is neat the progression is easy enough. It's awesome if you are a fan of the songs from the franchise in general. As a rhythm game, the base game songs are probably peak design. The dlc songs are where they throw difficulty out the window and just do whatever they want. 29 is the highest rating of the base game. 30 and one higher gets introduced in the dlc and it is so far from just a single step up in difficulty that it's hilarious.
i <3 touhou and i <3 rhythm games. godly combo.
Neat game, I like it. Lots of good music and good charts. I'm mostly leaving a review just to note that although the store page says "Unsupported" on the Steam Deck, it actually works fine, both on the Deck and on Linux in general. The latest version of Proton has some weird sound issues, but if you set it to GE-Proton 9-27, it works great. The only real issue is that while the game supposedly supports touch displays, it actually does not register multi-touch inputs on the Deck properly, which makes touch inputs basically unusable. Gamepad and keyboard controls are fine, though.
Practice makes perfect! (Also eye sores T_T)
