Get ready to embark on a divine journey with a game that's racking up rave reviews! With an impressive 4.5/5 rating on both the Playstation and Meta Quest stores, this immersive experience will have you hooked from the start.

It isn’t easy being a god, even during peacetime. You have to lead and support your people, help them with the harvest, and encourage their growth… all without them noticing you. But what if your lands are on the edge of a cliff? What if your people approach a whirlpool while being attacked by a horrible, mysterious monster? Well, when that happens, it’s time for you to display all your power and intelligence!

When you play Towers & Powers you’ll find yourself in an ancient land surrounded by the beautiful landscape, elegant buildings, mythical creatures and… chaos! These gorgeous places are under attack! As one of the gods, you’ll have to save your residents and keep their islands from sinking. But the rules forbid you from intervening directly… So what can you do? Only one thing is left: take your powers in your hands!

In Towers & Powers, you’ll create your own teams of peasants, priests, warriors and magicians, decide which buildings they need, use your powers to defend allies and trap foes. Awaiting you on your island you’ll find economic and military tasks to accomplish, exciting battles and travels to undertake, and loyal worshippers, cruel enemies and monsters to encounter. I only played this game for a little bit and was extremely bored while playing it, no offense. So first the game started me off in the middle of the floor. Not great, but I can deal with that. Then I realized that the movement speed as well as turn speed was extremely slow. After that, I started the game. The premise of being able to combine towers was really cool for a tiny bit, but when there are only 2 towers to merge for the first like 3 levels and there only being like 5 or 6 in total (according to the darkened figures in the buy menu), there is not all that much room for creativity. The tutorial is awful, it is the slowest tutorial ever and for me it even broke once, causing me to have to restart the entire level again. Levels felt really slow and what makes it so much worse, is that you cannot actually pick up anything like with your hands, it's all just hold the trigger (on Rift S at least) down and then wait for the circle to complete before picking anything up. Now I am all for accessibility, having a grab teleport feature is great, but there is no way to just interact with something without having that wait timer, making everything just feel slow and like you're not ac…

This was my first time playing a tower defence in VR, so I don't know how it compares to other TD games, but I thought it was worth the money for the amount of time I spent playing. I had fun and 3 star'ed every mission. It is a chill game where you can play sitting down and relax a bit without having to worry about motion sickness. I did see some reviews talking about the various bugs, but most of those were corrected by the time I played the game. For the most part I though the game was well polished. A game speed is relatively slow to give you time to react and move towers around, but I do wish there was a speed setting to speed it up a tiny bit. I had to restart multiple levels attempting to 3 star them and the slow nature made it a little tedious at times.

Broken for Valve Index: Beautiful game up until level 6 where it introduces you to spells and fails to recognize the triangle. Having restarted the level numerous times, restarted the PC/SteamVR, replayed the tutorial where you gesture a circle(Meteor) several times which works great I can't be bothered with this title and if you've got an index, neither should you...

Recommended – 6/10 Great VR tower defense game. Lots of tower combinations/configurations to defend against the enemies. Grabbing spells from the air and throwing them at enemies was definitely a unique VR touch. I did find that trying to wave spells symbols in the middle of battle ended up being cumbersome and distracting. I do wish there were more levels as I found that the pace of new combinations introduced never allowed me to completely grasp the usefulness of each combination. Also, I wish there was a random map generator or just additional maps revealed at the end of the game to play. I never understood or saw any benefit to the priest stationed at one of the altar positions. Maybe if there was a short demo of some of the units/combo abilities, showcasing what the unique benefit of using it brought? Also, the story is kind of weak, so it felt like the main goal of each map was just to get to the next one. Final battle map was a lot of fun and definitely my favorite. Special request to please let me heal units while in their tower form, at least between waves, as it becomes tedious to pick though every tower and heal all the individual units. Overall, I’d recommen…

A very nice TD game, but sadly as another user pointed out: Broken for Valve Index: Level 6 introduces spells and fails to recognize the triangle. There is no way to play the game any further.

So torn on this. For a game under $10 I think it's worth trying. I did find after getting through a few levels, it seems to get quite difficult. I think I got about 1/4 way through all the maps and I was exhausted because there was no lower level difficulty. :( Great Idea though. I think it just needed more time in the oven, but still good.
