About Toy Tactics

Toy Tactics is a physics-based real time tactics game where you can draw unit formations and command units based on minifigs to victory. Under the guidance of legendary generals, master the ability to draw configurations into the battlefield and send miniature legions to war against hordes of undead foes. Charge up your army with artifacts and destructive spells to give you the upper hand in battle and smash your foes in real-time. Create intense battles in both single-player and multiplayer modes in “1v1” or “Co-op”. Think fast, deploy your units strategically, and lead them to victory!

Units inspired on minifigs

All units in Toy Tactics are inspired by miniature figures used to recreate historical battles and fictional ones too! Fight against, or as, skeletal dinosaurs, spooky necromancers, and stealthy samurai. These bloodthirsty enemies want you to utter destruction. Battles occur in many scenarios, from the sunny pirate-dominated island of Tortuga in the Caribbean to the perilous mountains of feudal Japan; expect the unexpected!

Draw unique and personalized formations

Freeze the game at any time to draw new formations. From simple commands to charge and encircle your enemies to more complex strategic formations like pincer or wedge formations, divide your army into battalions and give each one a unique formation. The battlefield is a canvas, and you are its artist.

Real Time Physics for Real Time Strategy!

Just as in a real battle, in Toy Tactics your minifigs helmets are sure to roll. Watch your units fight with fully simulated physics for every encounter, crumble castle walls, and destroy structures. Witness the chaos and destruction unfold in a most epic fashion as the field is flooded with combat scenes.

Unlock Powerful Spells

Turn a bad situation around with our spell and relic system. Defeat enemies to charge up your power, then summon reinforcement catapults, quickly construct medical tents to heal allies or drop flaming meteors onto the heads of your foes. Personalize your strategies by unlocking your favorite spells through our skill tree; the possibilities are endless!

Features:

  • A physics-based RTS game with a unique drawing system.
  • Many unit types with strengths and weaknesses: raptor mounting skeletons, stealthy samurai warriors, impenetrable Roman legions, and many more!
  • Magical spells to blow enemies away, heal your allies, bring back fallen enemies as allies, and more!
  • Physics simulation system that sends foes flying and helmets rolling.
  • Five challenging campaigns, each with its challenging boss fights!
  • Five game modes: Campaign, Puzzle, Mercenary, Sandbox and Multiplayer:
  • "Co-op mode": Team up with another player to fight against AI, aiming to survive, coordinate, and produce units. Strategic skills and quick decision-making will be paramount.
  • "1v1": Face off against another player. You will build your army, select powerful relics and spells, and meticulously plan your tactics to emerge victorious.
Toy Tactics offers a hardcore strategy experience that will challenge even the most seasoned commanders! Gear up, draw your formations, and lead your minifig troops to victory. See you on the battlefield, commander!

Toy Tactics is a real-time strategy game that takes the complexity of classic RTS mechanics and reshapes them into something far more approachable, creative, and chaotic. Developed by Kraken Empire and published by Joystick Ventures, the game mixes tactical warfare with physics-driven combat and a unique drawing-based command system that completely changes how players interact with the battlefield. Instead of relying on endless hotkeys, rigid unit selection, and exhausting micromanagement, Toy Tactics allows players to command entire armies simply by sketching formations and movement paths directly onto the terrain. The result is a strategy game that feels intuitive almost immediately while still offering surprising depth beneath its playful presentation. The most distinctive feature is the magical drawing mechanic used to control units. Players can instantly create formations by drawing lines, circles, wedges, or custom paths across the battlefield, allowing armies to move and position themselves accordingly. This simple idea transforms the entire pacing of combat because players spend less time wrestling with interfaces and more time focusing on tactical decisions. Large battles…

Straddles just the right amount between casual and strategy, though oftentimes you'll wish there was more of one when you struggle with the other. There's a good amount of content here for people who want TABS with a little more focus.

I saw it on Artosis channel and bought it as soon as I saw it leaving early access, and I gotta say - it's very fun, I wasn't disappointed at all, and I enjoy the campaign a ton - it's a bunch of simple missions with simple rules that are very fun to interact with.

every campaign BEFORE the pirate one was fun, but genuinely WHO MADE THE PIRATE UNITS??? THEIR KING DIES SO EASILY?? THEY HAVE NOTHING TO ACT AS A MEAT SHIELD AND THEIR HEROES ARE ASS, i haven't seen a single hero die so fast other than "cap'n". she's a joke. and whoever made stage 2 of the pirate campaign, that was the worst map of this game, period

Don't expect more than 30hours from this game there is no new content coming there is no multiplayer once you complete it all you can do is replay the games challenges and skirmish. This game is very unique but the absolute waste of potential for this game makes me not recommend it at all. Waste of my money I wish I knew this was all I was getting when I purchased the game.
