✦ AI summary

Players consistently criticize this short adult visual novel for being extremely brief (completable in under 15 minutes), overpriced for its length, and featuring meaningless dialogue choices that create a false illusion of player agency in an otherwise entirely linear story. While the art and music receive minimal acknowledgment, the game is widely viewed as lacking substance, depth, and genuine gameplay, with misleading tags like "Choices Matter" and "Choose Your Own Adventure" further frustrating players who expect more interactive elements.

Disappointing this took only 15 minutes to complete. I only have a longer play time because I left it running, while I was doing other things, for the card drops. Gave it a thumbs down mainly for two reasons: the regular price and the tags. If the regular price was $1.99 USD, fine. That's what I got it for on sale, so whatever, but the normal price is bonkers. The game currently has some really bizarre tags, like "Robots" and "Futuristic," which don't apply at all. What I am most annoyed by, however, are the "Choose Your Own Adventure" and "Choices Matter" tags. There are a dozen or so "dialogue choices" that are meaningless. The story is entirely linear, so causing the player to think there might be a different outcome if they choose a certain way is wasting the player's time, and I hate that. If this is 80-90% off during a sale and you're looking for a way to farm profile XP, that's about the only circumstances I'd say go for it. Otherwise, don't bother.

4/10 Train And Tame is a NSFW bare minimum visual novel. Has a great foundation but is majorly lacking in substance. Completed in less than 10 minutes. Train And Tame is a visual novel where you play as a personal trainer for the wealthy with a twist- most of the women don’t come to you for the gym (pun intended). The music, art, and gameplay isn’t anything special. The game itself can be completed in under 10 minutes. The game plays like a visual novel for a couple minutes, primarily serving as exposition, before leading to the NSFW scenes. I encountered no bugs while playing. The game took me ~10 minutes to complete with all achievements. No cards but point shop items are available. For the price, the game is extremely short. This could’ve been a much bigger project but they chose to have bare minimum in both the story and gameplay. There’s not much special about the title and a lot of it is nonsensical. The choices don’t make much of a difference and seem to be there just to fill a bullet point. Pros

Art is fine.
Music and sound effects are fine.
Visual novel elements are fine.
NSFW scenes are fine.
No bugs encountered. [*…

This game went by incredibly fast! I basically just kept clicking, got 100% of the achievements, and honestly, I have no idea what even happened.
Train and Time — Achievements: Yes | Steam Deck: Playable

TL;DR: Overpriced adult visual novel with almost no gameplay, meaningless choices, and auto-unlocked achievements. Decent visuals, but nothing else justifies the price. Skip it.
Train and Time is another adult visual novel with minimal interaction and a very thin gameplay layer. The structure is as basic as it gets: Read the story. Make choices that don’t really matter. Occasionally interact with very light mini-games. That’s it. The choices barely impact anything, and the overall experience remains almost entirely linear. There’s no real branching, no meaningful consequences. There are a couple of mini-games (decorating rooms), but they feel like filler — simple, quick, and adding no real depth. Achievements unlock automatically, requiring no effort at all. This might appeal to completionists, but there’s no real satisfaction in getting them. The story leans heavily into its core themes (coach fantasy and specific character types), which may appeal to a niche audience, but overall it remains shallow. Visually, the game is decent. Character art is clean and well-presented, but nothing ex…
