<p>Tunnel Rats is a dark and intense single-player shooter for PC that depicts the horrific realities of the Vietnam War as seen through the eyes of a young US soldier.</p>
<p>As member of a “Tunnel Rats” squad, the player is trained to clearing out the huge tunnel systems underneath the jungle of Vietnam. After all of his mates got killed in an ambush, the young GI finds himself all alone, fighting against the Vietcong, their deadly traps and his growing inner madness...</p>

Bought this out of morbid curiosity and probably for the best it is completely broken. Literally just a runtime error crash on the first loading screen every time. Nobody was going to buy this but don't anyway lol13 found this helpful
I had a hankering to play all my old Vietnam games recently; i.e. Line of Sight, Men of Valor, Battlefield Vietnam, Vietcong, Rising Storm 2, Conflict Vietnam, and the more recent ArmA 3 S.O.G expansion; that was, after playing Military Conflict Vietnam (which is so like the multiplayer component of Men of Valor: however, I was initially disappointed when the game consistently crashed when I tried to load it. After several attempts at changing various graphic options I was going to give up, then thought aha! ...... 'the discussions' lets, check 'em, there'll be something there? and there was. Terje_P posted a link to a particular fix that was originally posted by unknown on Google Drive called Tunnelrotter.7z. [url=https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1VXAWbdziLh4o_rueRy_UIr2SkSknJRSP][b]HERE[/b][/url] The file is in Russian, so I first checked the efficacy of the file and it was passed with no issues, so I unpacked it using the password: [b]test[/b] The unpacked file is called replay.exe and if you replace the one in the games folder (backing up the original) the game worked for me the first time I booted it up and I was able to play with no crashs. It uses an older graphics card compared to the more up to date games and it has a very cool soundtrack. I bought this game for windows 8.1 about 3 years ago but couldn't play it. I have updated to windows 11 now and it actually plays now.8 found this helpful
First off it's not simple to get even the game running, in fact I had to install and to play it on my old windows 7 laptop, using also some fixies from the web because it does not work on modern computers, and apperently there is no support or instructions how to get it work from the developer (now defunct) or the pubblisher... Second the game is bad and looks pretty unfinished, with boring and uninspired locations like the jungle and the tunnels that most of the times will look like all the same, so you will have the sensation to play the same level again and again... Also many times the camouflage traps can be hard to be seen on the surface parts of the game, and this makes it even more frustrating because auto-save checkpoints are not that common (you cannot save manually)... Also the iron sights of the weapons many times will not work correctly and the main protagonist will never shut up for the whole game, saying boring or stupid things most of the time (except when he insults communists of course, that's a good thing). There are still a couple of not so terrible things in the game like a semi decent graphic (at least for a 2009 game), a not bad menu song, some violence and a…4 found this helpful
