Wasn't sure what to expect but once I got going it was a good concept and I had fun with everything going on.1 found this helpful
A cute lil tower defense game with progression. Here's a quick little pros and con list for everyone Pros - satisfying game play loops that incentivise replayability - engaging progress though an upgrade tree, not only for perminate upgrades - a hidden ARG??? I've only gotten a little bit into it but there is something more here - beeps and boops all over the place - okay the single greatest feature in this game is as your bots blow up enemies they drop money on the ground, and you have to click to collect it. You can accumlate a massive pile of money, and when you collect a GIANT amount of money it's *chef's kiss* - a smash ball?! - developer is attentive, already implamented an option I requested to turn on or off bit flinging - enough content there to keep your little ADHD brain ont his one for a while. This certainly isn't a demo Cons - the art style is rough, and is sometimes hard to parse - confusing to know if you're winning or losing - not all towers are immedently viable, so if you find one you like you kinda gotta care for it like a newborn baby - some bugs that won't allow you to finish some levels in rare cases - [strike] if you're rapidly clicking you can acc…
This game is AWESOME! Despite not being much of a gamer, I've always loved tower defense games but I've never experienced one so diverse and involved! The level of complexity woven into the game map and bot operations really got my strategic brain ticking. I loved how colourful every aspect of the visuals are, from the opening screen to the bots themsleves. And I especially appreciate how forgiving the game is because Im not very dexterous but the fact that I got to keep all the research I collected, even when I didnt beat the levels was really ancouraging to keep playing! Would recommend for anyone who likes puzzles, strategy and/or just being challenged by a new approach to tower defense game play!
A visually stunning tower defense style game with an interesting story behind it. I was able to understand and play the game through minimal trial and error.
The game's idea is great, but there are a few bugs and balance issues that I would like to point out to anyone willing to play (and the dev if they are still even managing this project) BUGS - Clicking on the Netbotz (purple one that shoots bouncing webs) too many times can completely freeze your game. Pillars still break and sounds still play, as well as time still passing, but nothing else works. Then if you don't reboot the game, all antroids will follow the same path as whatever level you were previously playing. (NOTE: this bug was only tested on Prestine Highway and IT Plaza) - Sometimes when pulling back a bolt to shoot, the bolt will not shoot. This usually only happens if the distance you pulled was short, could also be an intended feature. BALANCE ISSUES - it seems like the only way to win a level is getting a turret evolution, and 9 times out of 10 they are so powerful that you can evolve enemies 4 times and they will just get shredded by one turret. - The cross patch between the boom bot and sniper bot has the sniper's area explode, not the actual antroid hit. While this seems intended, it is ultimately useless. If you are like me and can overlook these bug…
Pretty great game! A good tower defense game, with some rougelike elements with selecting your bots and upgrades.
