About Twisted Fate
A turn-based roguelike with a deep ability-modification system. Lead a party of three heroes, adapt their skills using modifiers, collect artifacts, and craft unique builds to destroy the source of corruption… or die trying.
Each hero has four abilities that can be customized with modifiers. Combine effects, strengthen synergies, and create unique builds in every run.Unpredictable Routes
Every expedition brings new challenges: different enemies, new random events, and unique bosses in each region. Decide whether to take risks or move cautiously. No two paths are the same.Powerful Artifacts
Artifacts found in the world grant strong passive effects that reshape your playstyle. They amplify interactions between abilities, unlock unexpected tactics, and greatly increase your party’s power—but some come at a high cost.

This game has all that makes good little tactical RPG: positioning, diverse skills, skill development system that can make fun combos, shops, events. All there. So why do I give thumbs down? Because it is fuc*** SHORT! Ive beaten the last boss in 2.7hours! There is no meta progress, you can start all over, but you already know what works and will always work so you will aim for the same skill combos, I guess. I dont see why I should play again, so Ill try to refund. Btw the only thing (besides the game length!) I was quite unhappy about was the information about enemies - practically non-existent, you will learn it the hard way9 found this helpful
Beat the game twice in about five hours. You control three characters, each with four skills, and fight your way through three biomes along a map tree to a final confrontation with a boss (multiple bosses available in each biome). Characters get a certain amount of movement each turn and (ordinarily) one action (using one of their four skills). The real "fun" comes through the modifiers which you can stack onto your skills, allowing them to scale up to all sorts of terrifying heights. For the price, I liked the game. It is a pretty quick play and individual battles don't overstay their welcome. Once you have been through it, you'll come to understand that certain status effects are undermined once enemies start to spam them and Freeze, while potent, is of no use against bosses so you'll need some other way of bringing them down.1 found this helpful
Chill roguelike, the ability-modification systemis actually neat, good for killing a couple of evenings.
Great bite-sized turn-based roguelite, great "pick up and play" game.
A pretty challenging roguelike with cool visuals. It takes some time to figure things out and find your optimal tactics. Would love more diverse or less intrusive music. Also, some meta-progression would be nice, something that makes you want to jump back in after death instead of starting from complete scratch.
