Yet another Polygon Art game shoved out with zero passion and care put into it. Nothing new here. Cons - Map is flat, empty and barren. Buildings look like they are made for N64 games. Nothing there. - Gunplay is lifeless. Hitmarkers and little recoil. No impactful feeling of firing weapons. Just... lifeless. - AI is the worst I've ever seen from Polygon Art. They either see you through foliage from 100m+ away, or they can't even see you standing in front of them - Walk underwater without taking damage - Vehicle physics are just terrible

When Easy Red 2 exists, why play this?

[h1] A technically nice sequel ruined by bad design decisions. [/h1] As a fan of Polygon Art games and the 1st WW2 series - [i] Normandy '44 [/i] , I admire the superb re-created Normandy region with almost authentic layout of towns, villages, then I jumped to Final Stand which was better, so I had high hopes for this sequel game. Although this looks on paper like a complete - it has [u] big four maps: [/u] [i] Midway, Stalingrad, Tobruk [/i] and location in [i] Italy [/i]. Instantly turned out to be a dissapointment for me due some poor developer decision. [h2] Absurdity and Emptiness of Midway map. [/h2] The choice of Midway as a map from Pacific campaign and first map in game is a complete miscallculation. Not even historically, it's just dry, desolate, coral atoll used as airhead airfield and radar base, but its just eerily empty here. Worse, the devs cut their moves and put the French/German architecture in one spot, what looks simply comic and more a german Stielhandgranate as your frist equipment for US infantry. Nice. Instead this map, nearly any other location from Pacific would work much better. Put [u] Guadalcanal [/u] and get more gameplay and rich landscape than thi…

It definitely has potential, however, it's so janky and the physics are so wild that I couldn't help but laugh when: a) my plane collided in to some palm trees and just stuttered in there, until I got out b) the PT boat almost launched itself out of the water when I was walking along trying to use the mounted guns (I couldn't) The gunplay is actually pretty slick, but the game is let down by the animations, physics and optimisation My Graohics card (2080 Super) was really chugging along without either DLSS or RT on I bought this because it was on sale and the concept sounded intriguing. Als Einzelkämpfer ohne große Hintergrundgeschichte werden wir in feindliche Gebiete geschickt, um Missionen zu erfüllen und Kriegsverläufe zu beeinflussen. Zum Gameplay: United Assault ist ein sogenannter „Roguelite FPS“ – das heißt, die Spielmechaniken sind relativ simpel gehalten. Wir bewegen uns frei durch offene Karten, erledigen Gegner, erobern Punkte und erfüllen einfache Aufgaben. Es gibt viele unterschiedliche Kriegsschauplätze, aber die Missionen ähneln sich stark. Die Steuerung ist grundsolide, das Gunplay aber eher simpel.
