"Up Against Aliens" is perhaps genuinely intentioned, but comes across as someone dumping a bunch of stock assets on the Unreal Third Person Template to make a really lulzy bad "tower climb" platformer, you know the ones. What do you do in the game? Really badly done third person platforming and a few even worse mini-puzzles. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. The thing is, if this is an asset flip, and it sure feels like one, it held a price tag... and that's a problem because it would imply an unethical attempt to get YOUR money for other people's game assets. Next is pricing and what value this has for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $13 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low qual…
I only tried the main game for a few minutes but it is fun so far. The mini games are addictive though!
