Prevent her getting sunray, beat foes by dashing. Great pixelart, passive powerups. [カワイイ/ACT] 吸血鬼ちゃんでダッシュ吸血。 Video >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-YxE_7AuqY7 found this helpful
Very fun little game. Haven't beaten it yet but I can see myself sinking quite a few hours into this. Some thoughts: The gamefeel threw me off a little bit at first. The controls feel a bit floaty at first but once you start understanding the movement system it makes sense. It's not perfect but its very responsive. Most of the time when I take damage I feel like its my fault. The dash attack is a fixed distance but everything is positioned in such a way it works with that fixed distance. From standing its horizontal, diagonal vertical, and vertical only. When jumping its all 8 directions. The only change I'd like is it would make some situations feel a whole lot better if you could stand on the very end of a ledge and diagonal dash down from a standing position without having to hop first. But that's not really that big of a deal overall. It did stop some of my chain dashing because I scuffed a corner but it could also very well be a skill issue on my part because I'm garbage at video games. All in all, it's well worth $5. Go play it.2 found this helpful
This was a really fun, but really short game. I was able to clear it in about 30 mins without any upgrades, and only died once... so why am I recommending it? I think the idea is fantastic and I would love to play a longer version of it. Something about dashing into enemies to gain health just feels great, and having to dodge open windows makes you react on your toes a lot more. It was also built for speed, so there is replay value in trying to beat your old record. $4 is a little steep, but I got it on sale for less than 3 bucks and I feel like I got enough enjoyment out of it to justify that price.
Quite the fun little game! My only complaint is that the achievements aren't working (for me at least)
Short, but sweet game, over all a lovely experience.
It's billed as a rougelite (and I guess it kind of is? There are permanent upgrades and random levels) but it's easily finishable in under a couple hours. It's better to approach it as a brief speedrunner game; you're sometimes reminded (through character dialogue) how long you took to finish each section, there's an achievement for beating the game without upgrades,
and the ending basically says you'll be doing a replay probably :p
.
