About Vault Cracker
Melissa lives an ideal life with her son Noah, but she's no ordinary mom. She was once one of the most sought-after cat burglars in the world. She's given up her life of crime and after living for years under a false identity, she took a trip to her hometown with her son. She thought it was safe. Things go wrong when Noah goes missing at the airport; Melissa's only clue is a phone call with a demand. It's been a long time but now she has one last job. With the help of her old friend Mouse, Melissa must find her son, his kidnapper and avoid the police radar. And she's going to have to crack a few safes along the way.

Basic premise. Play as Melissa, find her son and his kidnapper. You’re presented with a safe-cracking puzzle that is so simple after completing hidden-object and find person scene.2 found this helpful
A full on HOG game. I didn't encounter any game breaking bugs during my play through. Sometimes the object's still marked red even though you have it in your inventory, but you can use it anyway, that's about it. Enjoyed the ride.2 found this helpful
Hidden object game. You are a retired burglar/safecracker travelling with your son, until he's kidnapped and you receive a demand to do a job. Don disguises, find ways into locations, and solve puzzles to open safes, in order to satisfy the kidnapper's demands. And perhaps identify the kidnapper. This game hasn't aged well. It doesn't allow resolution to be specified, and its idea of "full screen" on my laptop is a quarter of the screen. It feels like it should be running in Dosbox. Most of the game, aside from the story cutscenes, is hidden object. Cracking the safes involves visual puzzles, but said safes are few and far between. There is also the occasional "find the person in the room by eliminating everyone else using this criteria" exercise, made tricky by the devs' subjective idea of what fills criteria, the small screen and the poorish resolution. Mostly you're finding parts of things to fit together with other things to get into the places you need to burgle. Like many hidden object games I've seen, the scene for object-searching is sort of muddy, employing various shades of grey. Some hidden object games I've seen have a zoom-in feature; it would be really …
Keeps crashing Unable to complete the game
It's wall to wall hidden object scenes but I was enjoying it. Unfortunately, when I load the game the scene is all white and I can't progress cause I don't know where to click. The game also has a hard time exiting, you need to force quit it through steam.
