To start, this game is about a 5/10 for me. (Steam please add a maybe option) To start the description is not quite correct. Jumpscares is fine As for Sanity, there is no meter or even acknowledgement that there is sanity, and there seems to be no control over it. Hallucinations is vague but fine There are technically Multiple entities, 2 Cameras, as unhelpful as they are, they also are fine. Fuse box.......feature? You dont even have access to it till the end of the game and you just click it once. Key chain is fine. As far as lore goes i probably missed a note or 2 but i guess it fits the bill. dialogue is meh and thats if you count what your character is thinking as dialogue. I have beaten the game and there is no option for a new difficulty, not that i would really want to play the same loop again. The game also appears a bit different then whats shown on the steam page. The enemy doesn't have much complexity to it, classic roaming the halls till it sees you and gives chase, and the other enemy doesn't show up till the last 2-3 minutes of the game, with the same mechanic. The puzzles are unintuitive and not very fun. The price is also a bit high for what the ga…4 found this helpful
It's not perfect, but overall this is a fun game. At the new, lower price it's definitely worth giving a go - it has more depth than you'd expect. It easily gets a positive review from me. More than once I've found myself thinking about the game at work, how I died the night before and what I could do next to get further into the puzzle - I think this is the sign of a good game. The core gameplay loop is addictive. I wasn't sure about the choice of a vending machine as the main horror aspect, but it's done surprisingly well and is actually really scary. I've got a few clips of myself screaming like a school girl. As a self proclaimed 'horror game noob', I also think the amount of challenge is well judged. It's challenging enough that you won't beat it on your first attempt, or even your second or third. I still haven't managed to beat the game yet, but unlike many other games I can see myself actually coming back and trying some more until I finally reach the end. The AI is also better than I expected, with the vending machine having distinct "modes" that get more aggressive as you progress through the level. It's movement manages to be both hilarious and scary at the s…1 found this helpful
I sexually identify as a vending machine, ever since I was a young boy I dreamed of dispensing over-priced snacks to disgusting customers, people say being a vending machine is crazy and that I'm an idiot. But they're wrong, I am beautiful. I'm having a surgeon install a plexiglass screen and a multi-payment system (cashless of course!) I have already applied for my wholefoods card, one day very soon I'll be able to dispense most crisps and drinks from my internal organs. From now on I would like everyone to address me as 'Vendy' my new pronouns are as follows 'Vend/Vends/Vendself' If you do not support my new way of life then you are a Vendyphobe and should probably check your snack privilege.
