About VenusBlood GAIA International

The island of Palastra, once the shining gem of the Golden Age...

Centuries have passed, and the world has grown still, heralding the beginning of the Twilight Age. Now, the oceans have receded, birthrates have plummeted for all races, and an unknown plague ravages the land. Grotesque creatures of unknown origin roam the lands...

However, hope shines amidst the darkness. A new energy source discovered by Theofrad, the Archduke of the Sorcerous City of Energeia, may hold the key to saving the realm -- Ether. The Holy Dragon Empire Granleyd has outlawed the use of Ether as heresy, declaring a holy war on Energeia. And so begins Theofrad's uphill battle against the Empire, all for the sake of saving the world.

Join Archduke Theofrad in his efforts to save a decaying world in the Twilight Age with the power of Ether and his revolutionary Arcane Avatar Theory! As the underdog in the war against the Empire, he cannot stand against them in a direct confrontation. However, through clever use of the Labyrinth defense system present in the Sorcerous City of Energeia, he can ensnare and trap invading forces before closing in and wiping them out. Aided by his Succubus Secretary, Rein; Artificial Embryo, Lala; and a mysterious young girl known as Titie, Theofrad prepares the labyrinth to welcome any would-be invaders.

With the power of Ether, Theofrad is willing to fight against a world unified against him to save it from decay.

Set traps, position your defenders, and brace yourself for the enemy invasion.
You are the master of the labyrinth, and these invaders are but pieces on a board that you control...

With three divisions of six units each, you enter battle...with all 18 units! Decimate the enemies trapped in your labyrinth with the full force of three divisions!
During certain Event battles, you can face off against other battalions of three enemy divisions, but sometimes, you will enter battle against a colossal foe, taking it on with all three of your divisions to eke out a narrow victory!

Units can be customized in many different ways!
Raise them, assign them to a division, give them equipment, and place them as defenders in the labyrinth or put them into an assault team to directly attack invaders!

Depending on the decisions you make throughout the game, the story may progress down different paths, and there are also multiple endings available!
Make your choices wisely, for they will influence the ultimate ending to your story...

Multiple difficulty settings offer a wide range of gameplay options. For those who want to skip the gameplay and just enjoy the story, use the easy mode's "Win Skip" function to skip battles or even entire maps altogether. Hardcore fans, use the New Game Plus mode that allows you to carry over progress from your previous run and challenge the newly unlocked higher difficulty levels for a more challenging experience! In fact, if story isn't really your thing, there is a dungeon defense only mode available where all story content is cut!

For the 144 hours I have played of this game as of time of writing, I have not detoured to play any other game. So yes, I highly recommend it. But I would also additionally recommend playing it for the tactical aspect. ...and playing it on hard from the start, but also only if you're willing to treat failure as a teacher - because the game does not hold your hand and you will hit multiple walls before you succeed if you start your "Run 1" on hard.

I finally understand the negative reviews. The game is good so I WON'T mention any of the good parts, just the negatives, because if anything I write is NOT an issue for you, that the game is good, if not amazing, for you. NSFW comments Warning. Since this is for people who use the adult restoration patch to add the +18 stuff. Again, if mentioning the term "sex" is upsetting you, stop reading my review, see other reviews and DO NOT touch the Adult patch. 1st of all, if you have a birth and tentacle fetish you found your game. Otherwise, you need to be ok with this, otherwise, don't bother with the the adult patch since most scenes are fetish type... more into this when I talk about MC... (again, the bad part, will leave out the good part due to spoilers) The translation is like usually, converted to English culture, even if losing part of Japanese culture, as such, even if you clearly hear the character addressing others in a way, they are converted culturally, which makes no sens for anyone who cares about quality translation and accuracy. The typical example is someone saying sister or brother, and the translation says their Name.... Or the reverse, they say character's …

This is the second game in the Venus Blood franchise that I’ve played, the first being Venus Blood Frontier. Although the aesthetics of both games are extremely similar, this title introduces a significantly different gameplay style compared to its predecessor. It’s worth noting that while the international releases came out in an unusual order, this game is originally the successor to Frontier. The gameplay adopts a strategic approach reminiscent of a tower defense game, where you assemble squads to defend your base from invading enemies. Strategy also comes into play when building your base, organizing your squads, and managing resources. The difficulty ranges from extremely easy to extremely challenging, depending on the chosen difficulty level. While the gameplay is notable, the game primarily focuses on being a visual novel. The story is engaging and manages to keep players entertained throughout. Even though the plot might feel generic by today’s standards, it still stands out due to its execution. As with other titles in the series, the game features two main routes: chaos and law. These routes determine whether the protagonist becomes a hero or descends into madness. Howe…

Another entry in the AAA hentai game series Venus Blood. This one is a strategy RPG where you defend your dungeon by placing different room types and units on a grid based floor layout. Very meaty game with tons of story and hentai scenes. And also very replayable with unlockable units. Tamamo = Best girl
