Dark Deity is back! A quarter of a century has passed, as Irving and the Eternal Order carefully rebuilt Verroa to protect it against a future war. Their efforts will be put to the test far too soon as a new threat looms on the horizon. The neighboring Holy Asverellian Empire needs new lands to grow, and the fractious, fragile Verroa seems ripe for the taking. All that stands in its way is the Order and twenty scrappy heroes-to-be.
Take command of the Eternal Delegation, led by Irving’s descendants. Gwyn and Riordian will have to navigate the treacherous politics of Verroa, and weave a web of alliances to turn the tide of the coming war. Your decisions will determine the shape of these alliances and define your army. Coupled with the help of a giant pool of customizations, no two playthroughs will ever feel the same.

A desperate defense against an overwhelming foe. A land in the grasp of war fever, panic, and factional strife. A traitor around every corner. To have a chance at winning the war, you’ll need to make some difficult choices.
Verroa is torn apart by factions, and many of these factions are fractured in turn. Decide who to support and who to throw to the wolves - but weigh each option carefully. After all, your choices may drastically change the coming battles…
Every choice can fundamentally change the way you play the game. No two playthroughs are the same and what goes right in one game can go terribly wrong in the other.

Inspired by the many community-made randomizers for popular RPGs, Dark Deity 2 features a built-in comprehensive randomizer and campaign customization suite from launch. Random recruitment order, custom difficulty runs with stat, aptitude, xp, gold sliders, and more are available, allowing for near-limitless replayability!

Disclaimer, this game is not a fire emblem replacement. It is written by a beta cuck. The gameplay is ehh, the character development sucks. I wish I could refund it but I already past the 2 hours mark, if you have bought this game, my genuine advice is to refund it or if you haven't bought it, do not buy it. Get an emulator and play fire emblem instead. Do not support this creator. I know I won't going forward. The story is bad, it is another one of these where you have to forgive the people who kill your family. A story written by a cuck. made for cucks. I think chapter 26? yeah I am not continuing this garbage anymore. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ story. Everyone scheming and you are always the pawn and you never even get your pay back, even when you are stronger. I usually try to 100% games like this, but this game is just so bad story wise it is not even worth 100%.2 found this helpful
Even on sale, I can't recommend this game. I wanted to enjoy it. I wanted to give it a chance. But the writing is so bad I wanted to rip my ears off. "Millennial" writing... I hate that is now a legit term. And ♥♥♥♥♥♥ does it apply here. It's so obnoxiously stupid.1 found this helpful
Yikes. At first I really enjoyed this game. Mechanics are interesting, the classes were interesting, but wow does the story suck. Like leave a bad taste in my mouth suck. I don't know what children they found to write this garbage, but at this point its soooo bad, I am not sure I even want to play the last 3 chapters to finish this game. Please stop using power puff girl logic in games about war, and genicide. It's just stupid.1 found this helpful
What a let down. This game had me pumped for whats to come with the next Dark Deity, I was so excited for the second game, let alone the third which I was surprised was announced as well even if this game is almost a year old and then... I first played it.... oh god... it doesn't play like the original dark deity at all. Yes a lot of people had their complains with the game, I did too, but I love the simplicity and charm to the original it had, this just feels like the devs REALLY want you to know this is kind of like Fire Emblem because all of the old stuff from the original Dark Deity is just gone with mechanics I would find in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Fire Emblem. Now there goes that originality Dark Deity had. Moving around the map is slow unlike the original, you can't change ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapon types which was a boon in the original and now healing on characters is tied to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mana so you need to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WAIT to heal someone??? Man I hope you don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ let them die as enemies swarm them and you have NO MANA BECAUSE MANA TAKES FOREVER TO GENERATE. What a let down. Such a let down, I am not going to buy Dark Deity 3 when it comes out if this is what's gonna happen to this series. That just s…1 found this helpful
A strategy RPG (in the Fire Emblem vein) that's honestly better than it has any right to be, but also could be better with some more polish. Specifically, aside from some typos, the scenario editing is awkward in spots, the music is just ok, but mostly the UI is a pain in the ass to work with. There was a similar problem in the first game. Still, a SRPG worth your attention if you're a fan of the genre.1 found this helpful
