A wonderfully eerie, clever, and masterfully tense indie horror-puzzle game that breathes fresh new life into the classic OS-simulation genre! Sitting at a dark desk, text-hacking through encrypted database files to uncover the cryptic secrets of the Vessel Blue corporation while being glued to your chair is every bit as exhilarating and anxiety-inducing as it sounds. The atmospheric retro visual design and the claustrophobic desk layout capture that magical, high-energy analog horror thriller vibe flawlessly. What truly elevates the gameplay loop is the frantic multitasking dynamic: balancing intricate code-breaking on your monitor with constantly looking over your shoulder to scare away a terrifying, lurking Pumpkin Man creates an incredibly rewarding reflex check. Decrypting mysterious company documents while managing your desperate survival path keeps your deductive reflexes working at absolute maximum capacity. It is the absolute perfect, light-hearted yet moody single-player gem for a quick 15-minute tension check, mastering computer terminal puzzles under pressure, and enjoying pure indie survival creativity—all for the grand price of absolutely free! The game seems great but it keeps softlocking me????? there are also a couple of bugs that are consistently annoying and it all feels like it could be fixed in a patch or two. (audio and sensitivity settings reset for no reason, the game goes out of fullscreen when you close it, the camera gets stuck at random) that said maybe you'll have more luck with this game. i guess, it's half FNaF 6 (flash the monster to scare it, look up - there's a vent above you and there's no hint for that) and half "look things up on the computer and solve ARG-like puzzles" game. it sounds neat.1 found this helpful
Was fun for 15 minutes until the game started being unplayable. 1) The game tells me to use a light. I use the lamp and I still lose. 2) After losing, a game-breaking bug occurs and you have to quit the game and launch it again. 3) Mouse sensitivity tends to change on its own randomly Could be fun if those issues are fixed. Also, the controls for looking at the 3D models of objects you can inspect are kinda bad. I like everything else (gameplay, concept of the game, graphics).1 found this helpful
