About VHS: Recovered Tapes
When a call comes into 911 regarding an abandoned house containing old VHS tapes of some horrifying footage, detectives are sent to investigate. This is where YOU come into play, you will experience the tapes through the eyes of the recorder. Experience true fear in this first person point of view game, where you will experience some unworldly demons, and do whatever it takes to escape. A truly horrific experience that will test your ability to think under intense pressure.
With a variety of levels to experience and more being added regularly during our free updates, you will be tasked with traversing dark and challenging levels where you must complete a task to escape. Dark rooms, dead ends and many corners and stairs you could be lost if you aren't paying attention. The demons will find you, so think and move fast!
You have seconds to plan and act, with our smart entities they are searching for you, and will not rest until they find and kill you. Wander with fear as you hear their horrific screams in the distance before they finally have you in their site. Each entity brings a different challenge, so be ready to change up your tactics on each level you experience.
During the lifetime of the game, we will be offering constant and free updates, with new levels, features, fixes, changes and more! We want to build up VHS to be a fun and exciting game that will always have something new to offer frequently. I finished the game in exactly 90 minutes. This is really fun with 5 levels full of content, not very challenging ultimate graphics and just really fun. I highly reccomend6 found this helpful
Didn't know anything or want to know anything about this game....just grabbed something new to play before bed one night.....,,Right from the start I was liking the graphics and visuals ..... great Atmosphere and had that good creep factor thing going on. ... about 10 minutes in.....just slowly making my way from room to room.....I turned a corner and had the living ♥♥♥♥ scared out of me ......even went down to the fetal position for a sec. I got up...felt happy to have been scared....turned the game off and went to bed.... Looking forward to playing it again. .....👻3 found this helpful
Absolute disaster. Not only will you get super motion sickness from the headbob, the items don't even spawn. I started the first chapter over 50 times and either the first item or the second item did not spawn nowhere.....refunded EDIT: Thank you I'll check out the game after the patch3 found this helpful
Kind of wish the headbob was left in, it would add a lot to the game. I installed the game, first map I chose was map 2, first thing that happened was I walked left, and the mad scientist/boss guy was standing there in the corner bugged out walking in place. I walked up to him and tried interacting with him or doing anything and he was just stuck there. I'm guessing because I didn't walk in the right direction, the scripted event didn't work properly. Not a good first impression within the first 2 minutes of the game. I got later into the map and just found it to be a buggy and unfinished experience. The mad scientist guy I ran into earlier came flying around a corner out of nowhere and I instantly died unexplicably. Quit playing after that.
