Players are divided on this AI-generated rhythm game: some appreciate its colorful anime aesthetics, large song library, and relaxed accessibility as a casual experience, while others criticize the repetitive AI art quality, poor UI design with hard-to-read elements, confusing mechanics like unexplained card systems, and bloated song lists that count each difficulty separately. The soundtrack receives mixed responses, with some finding the AI-generated music pleasant enough while others view it as obvious filler, and several note that the game lacks proper explanation of its core systems and n
Pretty sure everything is AI generated. (As is stated on the store page too, so dev is up front about it.) Of course, usage of AI doesn't necessarily mean something is hot garbage imo. if used as a tool and still refined by a human's touch, it can be decent. However, that is not really the case here. The art is repetitive and typical AI slop. The menu icons look stretched out. The notes are hard to see as there's no opacity behind them. The game doesn't explain what the cards you earn are for and while it seems they're supposed to collect coins and XP clicking to collect them does nothing. The songs sound AI generated too but they're still nice. The menus are hard to navigate. Has tons of songs, but the list is bloated too because each difficulty for a song is listed as a separate song. The charts do seem to try and make sense with the music, but it's so out of sync it's hard to notice and it makes playing less fun. There's no option to calibrate or change the keybindings. Furthermore, upon starting a song it immediately begins not giving you even a second to place your hands on the keys to start playing. A very very flawed game, that is definitely trying to bait people with a…5 found this helpful
Vituber Melody is a colorful anime-inspired rhythm game that combines virtual idol aesthetics, upbeat music, and casual gameplay into a lightweight experience focused primarily on charm and accessibility. Built around the growing popularity of VTuber culture, the game embraces a cheerful presentation filled with energetic performances, bright visuals, and simple rhythm mechanics designed for relaxed play sessions rather than highly competitive challenge. Instead of trying to compete directly with more mechanically demanding rhythm games, it focuses on delivering an easygoing musical experience centered around style, personality, and fanservice-oriented presentation. The gameplay revolves around completing rhythm stages by matching notes and timing prompts to a selection of energetic electronic and idol-themed songs. The mechanics are intentionally easy to understand, allowing players to jump directly into the music without dealing with overly complex systems or steep learning curves. Inputs remain responsive, note patterns are clearly visible, and the overall design prioritizes comfort and accessibility over punishing difficulty. This makes the game approachable even for players w…1 found this helpful
A very fun and amazing rhythm game with anime girls. It has a huge variety of songs with 72 tracks. Excellent diversity of difficulty levels and obtaining evolution cards in the game and a collection archive of these cards. A very creative and different game with lively music. An excellent option for a dance game with anime girls. A game that will enrich your game library. I recommend it. 5-stars game.
