Most of the time, the game thought I said "INFERNO" and it would burn everything on the screen. A bit frustrating.

A cool little game for just a couple of bucks. It is a bit janky and the wizard often mishears my commands, but it is fun for a bit and a good adventure game. I recommend it. The Linux build didn't launch at all for me (Mint 20.3, kernel 5.15.0-58, NVIDIA GTX 1070 with driver version 525.78.01, using X and PulseAudio). However, it works fine using Proton Experimental and a USB microphone.

In a world where gaming has become nothing but generic shooters, one game dares to break conventions and my expectations (and perhaps my voice as well). In a truly unique experience where the only controls is your speech. Prepare to embark in an epic quest to far off lands filled with wizards, witches and all sorts of magical creatures. This game takes you back to the good old days without manuals or instructions and instead relies on only your wits (and notebook, VERY IMPORTANT). There may be times where you feel like giving up, feel lost or even swear that you said SOUTH but the game insists you mean DANCE, but don't let that stop you from giving this game a try. P.S. If you are struggling remember these words; DRAIN, INFERNO, DANCE, LOCKPICK (True Voice of the Wizard enjoyers will understand)

I stumbled upon this game by mistake last week, and I'm absolutely gleeful as a result. The voice commands lured me in, and I enjoyed the novelty. But they are NOT user-friendly, at least for this Australian woman. It seemed to work about 15% of the time. That aside, the game was so absolutely charming despite that, that I stuck with it for hours. Keen to go back for more. I found the world more enjoyable to interact with and experience than most modern adventure games I've played. I especially appreciated how practical a lot of the base spells were on several screens, rather than just being one-offs. Thanks for making this! Just as a side note, it's a very interesting game to stream. Responding to chat or even reading game dialogue out loud can interfere with the game, which is honestly pretty funny for the most part.

Truly one of the funniest times I've had playing a game. False positives in the voice commands are incredibly common, but I couldn't stop laughing at some of the wizard's following mistakes. Since failure just sends you to the start which never feels too far away, the punishment for failure is minimal. If you are a streamer, I HIGHLY recommend it as a stream game as trying to talk to your chat at all is going to have you scrambling to regain control. And when the controls work and you solve a puzzle you will feel like a god. And then immediately shrink yourself by accident. My advice: bring a notebook.
