I always wondered why in Dungeons and Dragons it was such a big deal for wizards to concentrate on their spells, and how things like weather or not being able to hear themselves cast could be enough to break that concentration. What's so difficult about that, I thought... until I played this game and experienced for myself what it's like to cast spells under pressure (and when you have to do more than just press a key to cast). Seriously though, the spellcasting through your own voice was super cool, and (as far as I know) this game is still unique in that regard. Also, a couple of times I already wrote off some area as clearly inaccessible, but then discovered a spell that allowed me to actually traverse it - it's just always exhilarating when that happens. I actually found it too difficult towards the end, in terms of both figuring out where to go and how to deal with certain enemies, so personally I had to look up some answers. Fortunately, once you know *how* to do something in this game, it's usually not too hard to execute - gathering the knowledge and puzzle solving really is the meat of the game.

This game looks outdated, feels to massive for what it is offering and puzzles in it, can be really tedious. Though it has interesting and for the most part nicely working consept, i still think that this game is not worth of your time.

The game needs to be polished a bit more, and the in game hints aren't very helpful. It's a very cryptic puzzle game that I almost feel you can't properly play without a guide else it's a lot of guess work. The First spell "Lumeh Tial" sometimes doesn't want to work and I'm not sure why. I can't tell if I'm saying the spell right or if it's just not recognizing the spell. Or maybe there are areas spells don't work? I'm not really sure. Oh and actually using the spells needs a bit more definition, such as "Hold Trigger say spell and release trigger" (Playing on controller) There's also the lack of direction in regards to spell usage. I got the 4th spell Telekinesis, and it took me a bit to figure out how to use the "move away" "move closer" commands. I knew they were there but it's the first spell that requires a second set of commands. And using the left trigger to cancel the most recent command. I probably won't finish the game since I find it a bit daunting to play. I would love to see this game remastered as I love the concept. I think this game has potential if they polish it up a bit more. I'd probably check out apolished version, and I'd love to see this as a VR game p…

forgotten little janky gem. with how we've progressed in voice recognition and related language tech, it's surprising to me not a lot of games, even small scale ones, try to use this gimmick. a couple multiplayer ones brewing currently, but that's mostly it.

I actually like this game. Using your real life voice via PC mic to speak your spells into existence is pretty rad. I get bored playing alone though...
