nostalgic masterpiece. if you've played it before it will take around 30-60 min to play through, otherwise i think you have around 2-5 hours of gameplay. Definitely worth the full price.2 found this helpful
I'm flooded with nostalgia with this game. This is similar to what a Monkey Island game is. It even came out months before The Curse of Monkey Island back then in 1997. Many people in latin america and spain have nostalgia of the spanish speaking version of Voodo Kid. It think is a good game for a kid 8 to 10 years old kid. Very short, easy but fun to solve and very etravagant kind of like a Tim Burton movie. Oh! and these kind of games back then made me being interested in 3D software. It was awesome to replay these after years. I come back every once in a while. BTW, years ago I was able to talk to Eric Sterling Collins one of the devs of the game. He was kind enough to send me original concept art never released before (even not in the big box version of the game which I own). I put that together in this short video for those interested ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnhAswMeL40 Extras: The FMV's upscaled: https://youtu.be/_qslneoPSJg Unboxing of the Big Box Game: https://youtu.be/QwlJZQrnBR41 found this helpful
A charming, classic point and click adventure game with a voodoo/pirate theme and a juvenile mood. It is pretty short and accesible (it seems to be targeted to kids), but if you like this kind of games, you'll have a great time for sure! The art style is rich, the voice acting pretty good and the FMV cinematics are a delight from its era. The music and the atmosphere are also great. This modern re-release comes with four languages and some delightful extra goodies that will immerse and help you in the adventure.1 found this helpful
Pretty simple and fun point and click game. Shouldn't be too hard for most people. Probably a good entrance level game if you want to introduce someone to point and click games. Good Horror Lite atmosphere for the kids too. Could be a fun Fall/Halloween time game.
