VR Puppet Game

VR Puppet Game is an Early Access free to play VR game. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, sounded ok, played ok. You grab the puppet control block and then try to run the puppet on a tricky path to the end portal, then you have a different harder path to run. Means you have to watch what you do with the puppet hand and move yourself at the same time. If you let the puppet wander off the path, you have to start over at beginning of path. The graphics and maps are not quality. Still in WIP, one campaign only at this time. Try it, but it is nothing special.

[h1]Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2[/h1] So I know this game is free and it's in Early Access as well, but it's just a bad experience. I have played many free to play VR games that were a lot better than this experience. There's very little positive I can say about this game other than it seemed to be running fine (steady fps) and I did not experience any game-breaking bugs. Unfortunately, everything else I have to say is negative. This is a clunky game with bad visuals. It's not original either. VarBlocks VR is a better version of this game. The controls are bad, the visuals are bad, the sounds are either non-existent or sound like they were made on a 90s headset mic. The gameplay is just running your puppet towards the green portal while avoiding obstacles. Unfortunately, the gameplay experience is so bad that you'll want to pay to stop playing this game. [b]Rate 3.5/10. Maybe the game will be improved and it'll be recommendable once out of Early Access. However, currently, it's just a bad game that is not worth the free download. [/b]

'VR Puppet Game' is a platform/interactive experience in which you control a string puppet along with a series of obstacles. While you do have to bear in mind the fact that this is free it is as basic as games get with the most basic of graphics and sadly also levels of control. But I have to say, on paper the idea of this game does have a lot of potential and to be fair it is a good use of the motion controllers. At the end of the day, it is creative indie games like that that will push VR into the future and without them, VR gaming has no future. So for that reason, I give this the thumbs up, but only for creative potential reasons.
