Just to be clear, this is just a simple ride-along. Nothing more. You can change the weather from moderate days, to calm nights, to stormy seas. But the water emulation is pretty bad, and there's no settings to change it to better quality. Similar to games from the late 1990's, it's very blocky, and no reflective surface to give you that feeling you're actually on the water. (Ship Simulator 2006, 2008, and Extremes had more realistic looking water, and those sims were 10 years before this one came out.) You can control the direction of the sailboat with the tiller. But that's the only control you have. (There are a couple of other moving "controls" within your reach, but they don't do anything.) There is no way to lower or raise the sail. Also, for some strange reason, it asks you to stand in a specific spot before starting. And it's always to the right of where you have your headset centred. Not sure what the purpose of that is. But when you start, it has you facing backwards anyway. So to "fix" it, you have to task switch back to your VR settings (it doesn't let you, face the wrong way, and centre your position. Played on Meta Quest 3 plugged through a symlink cord and it was okay but graphics could be nicer, movement of boat could be better and buoyancy could feel better.
Really great sailing experience. Put it on storm. and just sail. Thanks for making this.
