Through our debut project VR Regatta - The Sailing Game, we bring entertainment and education together through virtual reality (VR). We create experiences to enable more people to sail through the creation of games, training experiences and more.

Devs describe this as their old project, 2016-1019. They go on to advertise their new sailing game - which is the same price. No support for their old community, so they've in turn lost my support. I'll be in the Solent doing it for real! lol2 found this helpful

I rarely write reviews, but if the game stops launching I have to warn potential buyers of crap paddle.
Nice sailing game, more relaxing, better working and less nauseating than this other sailing game I tried ("VR Sailing", I refunded that one). Perhaps less realistic, but I like less realistic, I play it to relax, not to become a sailor on a ship. It does feel realistic enough to me, someone who never sailed before. Two improvement suggestions: 1. Adding a cheat with which you can set the speed of your boat using the trigger (making it a motorboat), in stead of having to adjust the sails. Yeah, I'm lazy, I know. 2. Being able to adjust the height of the central floor independently of the floor on the side of the boat, so you can get the same height difference as your real life position, e.g. on a chair. Strongly recommend this.

A very nice sailing experience. You can learn the basics and take part in races with multiple maps, some of which require strategic thinking as you would be going against the wind. Especially recommend Arctic dlc
