Wasteland 3

Wasteland 3 feels like Obsidian had to make [url=https://store.steampowered.com/sub/45615/]Fallout[/url] 3 again, but this time keep it top-down and make the combat more [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/268500/]XCOM[/url]-like. You can build whatever party you want, but secondary skills matter more than combat skills. Lockpicking, Nerd Stuff, speech checks, etc. open up so many options that making a deal is almost always better than starting a fight — almost like [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/1920490/]The Outer Worlds[/url].

It's a really good CRPG. If you enjoyed Fallout: New Vegas, Divinity: Original Sin 1, Pillars of Eternity 1, Tyranny, etc., then you will likely have fun with this game as well. For a 2020 CRPG, it looks good. Not everyone can have BG3's budget, and so what WL3 has is already more than passable. The highlights here would be the first-person or face-to-face conversations with key characters. The characters have that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 1 AND The Outer Worlds 1 facial expressions, plus brilliant voice acting. The music is phenomenal. Just think of Atomic Heart's music quality (NOT genre), and the perfect placement for each track. I hope the music director got paid well. Combat is CRPG + XCom combat. Either you like this gameplay style or you don't, hahaa. Some bugs and glitches still exist, but they don't ruin or brick a run. Like when your characters refuse to move, then just reboot the game. And when characters do funky animations in combat, it just looks funny, And those said animations don't give 'em any distinct advantage(s) anyway. Fantastic game. Lots of variety in the story choices. I do wish there were more choices for companions, especially early in the game.
