I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love roguelikes and I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this one too EVERYTHING about this one is on point for me, the difficulty the mechanics the items the weird roguelike sauce ALL OF IT, and the game being so well-suited to speedrunning makes it fun to try even for people who suck at speedrunning like me Also I love horror games and this game does its horror well, it very much replicates when I used to be into fnaf and it was Super Scary Until You Learn The Mechanics Highly recommended. I'm gonna go perish on endless abyss again
10/10 Game. It will seem unfair and sometimes sadistic, but you have to believe in your ability to gain skills. What seems impossible on your first run will become second-nature once you've mastered the movement mechanics.

This is simply the best and most satisfying game that I have ever played. It has very great lore that isn't forced through cutscenes, but spread through secrets and notes through the game. It has a pretty decent skill floor and a nuts skill ceiling that drives you to improve, in my opinion, and I'm obsessed with any game that has such a number of unlockable cosmetics and items. Peak, peak, peak, peak, peak.
at first i was very iffy about there being guaranteed item spawns during the climb, as i thought this would be like one of those roguelikes, but after playing enough i've come to the realization that the true fun of the game lies in its actual contents and not the randomness (although it is appreciated) and began to appreciate every single guaranteed item spawn the devs put in that at times change your route and the way you play. after getting all achievements in this game (missing only 2 cosmetics which cost a lot of metaprogression currency), dying to stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥/headhitters and hype moments and aura, i would say it's a well made game that's worth your time and money.
