About Wingsuit: Gudvangen
Take to the skies in Wingsuit: Gudvangen and pursue the daredevil career of a professional wingsuit pilot with the action turned up to 11. Put on one of the wingsuits at your disposal, choose an exit point, and make Gudvangen your playground. The classical action sports location has been faithfully recreated as an open world for you to explore, so you can fly the same lines you've seen in your wingsuit heroes' recordings, or carve your own way down the mountainside. When you're done blazing sick lines, you can string together high risk trick combos for a new high score on the global leaderboard, test your skill as a camera man, or try your hand at the truly insane Survival Mode, where you have to dodge nasty weather and SAM sites. On top of all this, the world is packed with challenging gaps and collectibles, so there is always something fresh to explore around the corner.

I Love this game so mush it's flying mechanics are amazing! It makes you feel like you are actually wing-suiting down a mountain. A lot of people will look past this game for the graphics but trust me it is well worth it. It is lots of fun! If you want more details I have a Let's Play series on my YouTube channel. This is the first video in the series ► https://youtu.be/hYMyguQpyqg This is the second ► https://youtu.be/IO6zFSUMsMY The Third ► https://youtu.be/XaiZdddmYKc Its a great game and I hope more people will enjoy it!5 found this helpful
Great concept, extremely poor execution. For a game released in 2019 the graphics look like they came straight out of the mid 2000's. With a lot more refinement and development, this could be a great game, but as it stands right now this is one of the worst games I have paid for.4 found this helpful
I love the idea of a wingsuit game with Tony Hawk-style goals. What I DON'T love are the game's horrible controls, godawful animations, and complete and utter lack of a tutorial. Controlling your stiff, blow-up doll of a character is way, way harder than it should be. I actually recommend moving with WASD instead of an analogue stick, as moving in more than one direction at a time is a great way to overshoot what you're trying to do. You have to be so insanely careful and it's almost never enough. Also, if you're playing with a mouse and keyboard you better take a screenshot of the controls, as the options screen only lists the ones for controllers. I had to start a new game just to see what the controls were again. The game demands you build up a score by flying close to things, but I had no idea how this or the multiplier worked as the game doesn't tell you anything at all. It actually reminds me of QWOP, but it's worse because that was intentionally frustrating.4 found this helpful
The VR version (Mount Wingsuit) is better2 found this helpful
Lost on Steam EP. 25
This is one of the 3 featured games in the weekly Sunday show. An unboxing for video games! You can watch the highlights of this game and the two others featured this week here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Rq10DDgzRY [Thoughts and First Impressions] This game would be so much fun to play if it were more like Pilotwings 64. Do I have a crush on that old Nintendo game? Yes. Would I play a new version of Pilotwings 64? Absolutely yes. This game took me back for just a few minutes to those amazing hours spending flying around the map as birdman, or the hanglider. Unfortunately that's where the similarities end. This game has VERY poor controls that make me want to just jump off the cliff and not pull the parachute cord. The area that you can explore is fairly small, with very few actual features dotting the landscape save a doughnut, landing platform and some UFOs. I really wanted to like this game because it's my type of game. Just a relaxing, no real stakes, no action type of game that you can get lost in. Unfortunately the poor controls (inverted flight controls, odd buttons, camera resetting to center over and over) keep me grou…2 found this helpful
