Wishlair is a charming retro-styled exploration game that players consistently praise for its addictive, simple design and nostalgic appeal to classic DOS-era games. The standout final boss battle and lovingly crafted world leave most players wanting more, though some note minor issues with translation, occasional glitches, and sluggish horizontal movement that occasionally detract from the experience.
Classic 16bit world explorer. Gems, quests and monsters. Simplistic, but addictive, trying to get around the map to all the rooms, then fighting bosses. A nice little throwback to the days of DOS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knYnwSeyZ-M3 found this helpful

This is a nice little diversion. The final battle is suprising and really elevates it.1 found this helpful
Wishlair has become one of my favorite games. Highly recommended if it looks like something you'd try. There are some translation issues and some glitches during the final challenge, and at times horizontal movement can feel slow, but overall it was so much fun.1 found this helpful
Wishlair is a lovingly crafted call back to simpler games, with a bit of modern spice thrown in. If you enjoyed the original ZZT genre of games, you'll find a lot to enjoy here.1 found this helpful
