More linear in nature and easy to 100%, Memories wraps up the unanswered questions left from Embryo and touches on the backstory of important characters in the BlazBlue series. The story is very disjointed because it's jumping from different perspectives and timelines. That would be okay if the writing was good but unfortunately it's not that exciting. Another negative, it's reusing a lot of assets and partially repeating the same story from the original game, makes me think this is a cash grab. [b]Not Recommended[/b]

I'm losing my memories to this

If you are super into Blazblue's story you should absolutely give the XBlaze series a try! It's definitely a niche within a niche which is why I think it gets a bad rep but if you are in this particular niche don't let that bad rep scare you away. Lost Memories can get a bit repetitive due to it being mostly a recap of Code Embryo but it is absolutely a necessary sequel and you will get a deeper understanding of the XBlaze cast.
