[🌸] [b]A creepy/cute RPG...for FREE![/b] [hr][/hr] Yamikko Troublemaker was quite a surprise: I definitely did not expect this level of detail out of something free. The game's cutesy / dark style is very reminiscent of games like Dreaming Mary or Needy Streamer Overload. The character designs are very cute, and I love how pink everything is! I have a few complaints however, especially regarding the gameplay. It does tend to get repetitive, and in some sections, they drag a bit. This is a game that has several bad endings, but only 3 save slots, which is unfortunate because it discourages replaying for those other endings. I wish that either the game included more save slots, or a chapter selector that would allow you to skip sections that have no choices. The translation can be a bit inaccurate in spots, but it's nothing that would take you out of the story. I would also recommend checking out a guide to get the different endings, as the requirements for certain ones can be difficult to get on your own. If you like dark visual novels Please please PLEASE give this game a try, this might literally be the best horror visual novel I've played, This game is literally free so you have nothing to lose other than some time. This game creeped the HELL out of me, especially that day where if you end in trouble you get this unsettling image alongside someone screaming, god that still gives me goosebumps even while writing this. The game had me at a loss of words sometimes due to how dark and sad the game is. I LOVED how your choices mattered going through the game. You might need a guide because in my playthrough i did get a little lost on taking different routes or finding new dialogue and I had a friend look at a guide for me while i streamed it to him.

how much of reality can be coped with until it can no longer be accepted? Yamikko Troublemaker is one heck of a psychological thriller dealing with someone cornered by life since birth, whose only form of cope is to deny reality. That which keeps him hoping to live is also the very thing separating him from life, The medication meant to ground him to reality ended up becoming personas of the things that pulled him further away from it. As someone who's witnessed a loved one suffer from countless psychotic episodes, cycles of medication, and eventually s* this game gives a very real depiction of mental health problems and how they twist and break people. Overall it is written exceptionally and is a good game aside from some slight translation errors and poor UI design. The experience, however, is quite the novelty, and it is something i could without a doubt recommend to those seasoned or curious to psychological horror games.

This game is f*cking mental, the Crème de la Crème of psychological horror, and the reason i love this subgenre. You WILL feel disgust, hate, love and much more while playing this. You WILL react strongly to the sh*t you see on-screen. However, it's part of the experience. Let this game wash over you, drown you even, in its madness. Trust me, you won't regret it. Play this game without guides as much as you can, but don't be ashamed of having to use them if you are REALLY stuck. I got the true ending without guides, but i had to replay segments multiple times to advance the story. Heck, I have yet only seen half the endings and game overs in this game. If you don't have the time or the patience to search for everything yourself, just use the "TRUEEND" guide. The only one in english. When launching the game select the 2nd option and click "always use this option", it will come in handy. 11/10, my therapist is going to hear about this.
