About Yukar From The Abyss
Tired and disillusioned with her busy life in Tokyo, Kurumi Oki decides to slow down and move to Hokkaido for a fresh start.One night, on the train home from meeting up with her friends, she dozes off and realizes she has missed her stop.
Panicked, she gets off the train and finds herself at an unfamiliar station called Kamuy Mosir.
Seeking help she walks toward some nearby lights, where she sees a group of people dressed in unfamiliar costumes having a party.
Without warning, she is chased by the group and is captured by a young man. Her captor tells her that she is dead, and he will take her to the underworld, the land of the dead.
Still being pursued by other mysterious beings, Kurumi unexpectedly opens the door to the world of the Gods, where she must overcome fierce trials, explore the mysterious new world, and perhaps even discover what happens to forbidden love with the Gods..
Your choices matter - Each decision you make will affect the story and the ending, will you live happily ever after or suffer eternal damnation?

Dear me... I don't think this book was for me... I will compliment you on the artwork and the backgrounds. Upa is adorable. Zooming into bear-ears is cute. But oh my... Is the MC dumb. Terminally dumb in fact. Not only that... She is overly naive, believes everyone is utterly good and can do no wrong, useless af, a simpleton, a people pleaser to a point where she will DIE if no one will stop her and nothing surprises her. A God reveals himself to her? She is like "oh okay". A certain situation occurs "Oh, it ain't real. Just a dream, so it's okay!" And let's not forget... "You want me to cut off his head? As in kill him?" Yes MC... That's what it literally means........................................... Also... Upa is just there to "dumb things down" for this MC and give her stuff she doesn't deserve. She was also given "something powerful"... Which she also doesn't deserve. Gods are fighting over her and her attention... And all for what? A piece of paper would be far more entertaining than this one! Was she ever useful? I guess. When the bird TOLD HER how to be useful. It's lowkey criminal how underrated this game is; there are 4 LI's, each with three endings plus one after story. All the routes are super engaging and the art is absolutely gorgeous! 10/103 found this helpful
Its a fine otome taken as a whole. Played Moshirechik > Kyril > Pewrep > Li Huaisu as I personally play for the big surprise reveal at the end (which Huaisu appeared to be) Pros: -stories are short, sweet, and to the point, which is fine. -the lore about the Ainu people and the island of Hokkaido as a whole was absolutely enhancing and a beautiful read overall -MC was believable and not completely helpless -the CGs for most routes were very adorable Cons: -One of the routes had a clearly different artstyle that suddenly did not mesh well with the other 3 routes, ruining my enjoyment of that route because it just seemed odd and out of place. -most of the best route endings of all characters just seemed... [spoiler]half baked is the best way to put it? Not the biggest fan of how they play out. [/spoiler] Overall, its a good break otome between major reads.2 found this helpful
This is such a good otome <3 <3 <3 1. Story 10/10: I cared about the characters, I cried for some of the routes. The plot had me hooked till the very end. You have to play all good and bad routes to get the after story for each love interest, but it is worth it. 2. Love Interests 7/10: One of the routes didn't feel romantic for that love interest unless you got the bad routes.... those bad routes made me cry (two of the characters bad routes were really really sad....). This otome is really good just because the writing could evoke strong emotions between the characters. The Lore really comes together after you play a couple routes. 3. Main Character 10/10: Guys MC actually defends herself!! The MC is very smart and caring, I really enjoyed an MC that will jump into battle to save her friends. I also loved how when she sets her mind on something she does it. 4. Art 10/10: It was consistent and well made. 5. Voice acting 10/10 6. Achievements 5/10: I did not personally subject myself to the horror of achievement hunting.... one of the achievements is a little extreme. English/Englisch: Wow, this game and its story are really amazing. You get to make so many choices, the story is thrilling, and it completely draws you in. It took me 3.1 hours to reach one ending. There are 3 endings per character and an after-story, so that’s 12 endings and 4 after-stories in total. I’m really looking forward to unlocking the other endings. German/Deutsch: Wow dieses spiel und diese Story ist echt richtig toll, man kann sehr viele entscheidungen treffen, es ist eine spannende geschichte und fesselt einen komplett. Ich habe 3,1 Std. gebraucht um ein ende zu bekommen, du hast pro Charakter 3 enden und eine after story also 12 enden und 4 after Storys. Ich freue mich sehr die anderen enden zu schaffen.
I love this so much, I admittedly wasn't expecting much but oh my goodness this has quickly become one of my favourite otome games ever! I love the characters, I love the lore and I love that I'm learning new things throughout the entire story! And I can't wait to learn more as I play! This is truly amazing and I'm so happy I bought this!
