Yuletide Regicide is a short comedy visual novel about a duo of an investigative journalist and an undead detective investigating the murder of Santa Claus. The game has cartoonish visuals, four endings, and achievements. It`s just a free, okayish little game that you can finish in a quick session. Neutral Review. Yuletide Regicide is a welcome (if temporary) cure for post-Christmas blues! It's a visual novel about an unlikely pair of investigators (a journalist and an animated skeleton) looking into the murder of Father Christmas. It's short, nicely & brightly illustrated, a good blend of funny and cynical humour, and has multiple endings. There are achievements for game progress and for each of four endings, plus two for either perfect - or totally imperfect - final deductions. My thanks to the developer: you're definitely on Santa's "good" list.1 found this helpful
Really fun and well-written. The characters were great. I'd love to see this become a series of weird detective adventures.
