Yuri Dating Agency is a weird game. Similar to viral games like DDLC this game is deceptive in its appearance and premise and very, very meta. This game will take you on one heck of a trip, while being a completely wholesome(?) lesbian experience. Any game that makes me mess with the files to find true love with cute girls is definitely memorable if nothing else. My only gripe is that the English translation needs a proofreader urgently. I managed to understand most of it, but a lacking translation will really confuse you even more in an already obtuse dialogue based puzzle game.

Cute little game that makes lonely lesbian gamers happy (me). It gives off that pleasant dating sim vibe but for sapphics. I thought it would just be a nice and simple interlude in my library but it quickly became sentimental to me. I feel nervous when starting, because I get more immersed than I thought I would. It's comforting and cosy, and the writing really gives off the scenario of getting to know the deep parts of someone when you guys were originally starting with the uncomfortable small-talk/ice-breakers. I haven't seen all of it, but I think I've played enough to make a judgement. This is a game that I have and will play again and again, perhaps even after learning everything too. Sometimes you get better appreciation out of smaller things, and this game really remind me of that. :3

The English translation is definitely rough. At certain parts I used ChatGPT to translate the original script and understand the dialogue. There had been game-breaking bugs but they were swiftly fixed by the developer. This game features an enormous amount of branching story paths, some of which can influence each other and part of your progress is saved persistently which means saving and loading the normal way isn't as effective. That said it's definitely been a fun ride, there are very interesting characters for you to discover and the game provides an engaging story for each of them as well as an overarching narrative. The game has a lot of secrets and discovering them all is like solving a big but satisfying puzzle.

I mean I guess the game tells you it's a puzzle game and that it's hard but jesus dude, getting Aprils ending might be a little too hard

Having a lot of fun with this! Characters are super cute, and I love the dates and everyone's unique personality. It's nice to see lesbians discussing WHY they're interested in women for once - I think this is a rarity in the genre. (If the creator is still floating around, I'd love to help fix the English translation up and make it more readable for people. :) It's understandable, but it could use some polish!)
