About Z1 Battle Royale
Drop into Z1 Battle Royale, a free-to-play action arcade battle royale where you fight solo, in duos, or fives to be the last one standing. The revamped classic restores the legendary "King of the Kill" feel with overhauled movement, combat mechanics, vehicles, and a reimagined PS3-era map, plus new seasonal ranked playlists and in-match missions.
New management is in town and restoring the game to it's former glory under a new name, Z1 Battle Royale. Since taking over development of the game in September the team here at NantG has worked with a firey passion to bring back the feel that was lost with the Combat Update. Our first major patch since taking over is coming out today March 6th and we couldn't be more excited for you all to get your hands on it.

Daybreak once had something but threw it all away. This game is just a 1v1 on a giant map now, but don't worry the microtransactions are still up, so at least they're honest about how they feel about this garbage. Put it out of its misery.1 found this helpful

Daybreak Game Company conducted another round of layoffs, marking the third wave of staff reductions since early 2018.
Game Update: July 17, 2019
Z1BR servers will undergo maintenance on July 17 for a new update featuring a new Racer vehicle, with an estimated 3-hour downtime starting at 2 PM PDT.
Game Update: June 26, 2019
Z1BR servers will go offline Wednesday, June 26 at 2 PM PDT for a 2-hour maintenance bringing a new Hot Dog Eating Contest Arcade Mode.
