Zero Days VR is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this "art experience". Instead of being a game, Zero Days VR is a software application that presents a poorly made art exhibition that shows a video about Stuxnet. Yep, apparently crap documentaries are video games now. Next time I watch an episode of Cops or Mike Rowe's Dirty Jobs, I'll be like "Wow, what an awesome video game I just played!" Yep, documentaries are not video games. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. Counter-Strike has a game loop where a player seeks another player, tests their skill against that player by shooting them or being shot, the computer rewards the player if they win, and then if the player survives, they repeat that loop. Игра 'Zero Days VR' – это напряженный и захватывающий VR-шутер, который погружает вас в роль оперативника, борющегося с кибертерроризмом. Графика, хоть и не передовая, вполне функциональна и создает необходимую атмосферу. Геймплей динамичный и требовательный, заставляющий продумывать каждый шаг. Особенно хочется отметить интерактивность окружения и вариативность прохождения миссий. Возможность взламывать системы, использовать укрытия и выбирать различные тактики – ключевой элемент, делающий игру реиграбельной. Звуковое сопровождение также усиливает погружение, создавая давящую атмосферу секретности и опасности. Недостатком можно считать некоторую угловатость управления в VR и не всегда интуитивно понятный интерфейс. Тем не менее, общее впечатление от игры положительное. Это достойный VR-тайтл, который предлагает интересный сюжет, напряженный геймплей и возможность почувствовать себя настоящим кибер-воином. Рекомендуется любителям тактических шутеров и VR-игр.
