VEHICLES

This game is kind of like an abusive mother. You want to like her and be with her, but you know she would do a lot of bad things to you if you get attached. She will pull you in and spit you out much worse if you even try. What do i mean by this? The game itself is just... really strange. My playing was done on the playtest version. For starters, the gameplay is very much just "here this is the direction for your escape, go towards there, have fun!" and after that youre just thrown into a world with no clear idea of what to do or where to go Zombies get very easily stuck at doors to houses or supermarkets or whatever. It is incredibly annoying to clear buildings, and sometimes outright impossible without taking damage. Speaking of houses, their design and layout are just terrible. They make no sense from whatever standpoint. Its kind of like DayZ housing all over again. Gun damage doesnt make much sense. 22 lr just seemed to be the meta no matter what, as its very easy to craft and a decent gun using it isnt too difficult. In my case it was the american 180 with 110 round drum mags. It took about 15 bullets of 22 lr to do the same damage as 1 50 bmg, and you craft 30…9 found this helpful

Looks really cool. Wish I could play it but there are no input assignments on the settings. If I had known that I wouldn't have bought it since I can't stand wasd controls.
Game is very interesting and unique, its a very action packed experience, with lots of cool weapons and mechanics, its very obviously a passion project and the dev is great. My biggest issues with the game are performance and the amount of jank. Theres a lot of very annoying things that are little but they add up, especially if you come from zomboid, the zeds are very buggy around houses and will just constantly jump in and out of windows, the sound is off; it sounds like everything is right beside you. I bought it on sale and over my 11 hours i didnt complete the game, but i was very strong and taking out war machines (mechs) so i felt unkillable, granted i was playing on easy, my first save bricked and i forgot to switch back to normal when i remade. 50/50, if ur fine with jank youll enjoy it, for 10-15$ i think its fair, i wish the dev had a bigger budget, the game has a ton of potential and charm.
