no subtitles by default, or even a prominent subtitle option at the start of the game (...on a contrary, the game shows the light/dark, map-drawing, and commentary options right at the start!!!)

Basically walking around a house and being nosy for two hours, but somehow it kept me interested the entire time. I loved piecing the story together and it got surprisingly emotional towards the end. The whole 90s setting and all the little details also gave me this really comforting nostalgic feeling. Just a genuinely really good game that stuck with me more than I expected.
